Who needs insurance?
Capitol Recap: Georgia hospitals financially hurting from COVID-19
I don’t think you read the whole articlethey can wear clothes without being in full uniform. The Shelby County school system is a majority of underprivileged kids and impoverished families. It's bad enough they are telling most of these poor parents they have to keep their kids home 5 days a week while most likely also maintaining hourly jobs that don't allow for remote work, now they are expected to purchase school uniforms when they aren't physically in school.
It's amazing that in 2020 Science has regressed to something we read on an absolutely idiotic Facebook meme.
Look I want schools open. But you got to have some kind of guidelines. Like I said you don’t want kids attending online virtual classes in their underwear.
The vast majority of the individuals refusing to wear a mask is clearly based on hours of scientific inquiry on their part If wearing a mask is some ill conceived political ploy, what exactly is the goal of it? Jedi mind control? The mask deniers like to pretend those who do choose to wear one really enjoy it and it’s no inconvenience for them at all.
hence if other people wore masks as well.....the key word in that phrase is MAY. If we are facing each other talking, and you are wearing pants and I am not and I pee, you MAY get wet. However if we are both wearing pants and I pee, I will only pee on myself, you will not get wet.
Did you read the article? I assume no. The superintendent said they were moving to come up with guidelines at the next meeting. Those guidelines would not include khaki pants or collard shirts. I swear most of you only read headlines. So there is no landing place between underwear and school uniform?
Sometimes the CDC recommendations are held up as absolute science, but around here it's just as likely to be dismissed as hypocrisy in the same sentence.
I'll just offer this other observation.. if the virus is found in mucus and flem (snot and lugies), and either of those come flying at you from an infected person, and the mask stops it from hitting your face, mouth or nose. Saying the mask didnt offer some protection is arguing that once the mucus or flem hits the mask, the virus flies off and through the mask and lands on you, anyway.
Arguing over the smallest particle size that the virus can be transmitted is just ignoring the largest virus containing globules.
well the irresponsible adults may only do 1...the other 4 are infringing on their constitutional rights!Fauci, Redfield testify before House coronavirus committee: live updates
Redfield say there are five things that can accomplish as much as shutting down the country. They are:
- Wear a face covering
- Social distancing
- Hand hygiene
- Staying smart about gatherings
- Staying out of crowded bars and restaurants
That's an inaccurate article. "Aerosols" are much smaller than the filtration capability of cloth masks. This is exactly why N95s and respirators were invented and used by those at risk of inhaling viral particles and their associated aerosolized droplets, which have evaporated to much smaller diameters as they travel from the expeller.
In addition, there is little to no data demonstrating the safety of wearing a cloth mask to the wearer. The constant touching/wiping/adjusting of the mask absolutely has the potential to increase risk of infection. If you don't believe me, come spend a day in the office with me and observe.
I know this may cause some to challenge their preconceived beliefs, but it will take critical thinking to emerge from this crisis.
Were any of those protestors at the Tulsa rally? If not, I fail to see how it's relevant to the discussion about the likelihood of Herman Cain being infected at a near-maskless rally that also saw 8 of the president's campaign staff infected, along with a noticeable jump in cases in Tulsa.
Mitch McConell and the GOP Senate yay it day in and day out. He is sitting on bills that need to be passed and refused.
