Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

Sure they do. And everyone knows it but still it doesn’t change. That’s the kicker. The media dangles the worm and everyone, knowing it’s got a #2 hook in it. But they eat it happily everyday.
This is turning political too fast! Go Vols!!!

There isn’t a mask out there aside from a biochem mask that’s gonna save you. The media just wants to spread fear to heard the sheep.

If the president resigned tomorrow somehow the meds would be ready to go and the masks would no longer be needed.

Keep politics out of football.

The governor of NC:

We’re planning to open schools.
We sympathize with the teachers and will work with them if they contract the virus.
If your child should get it let it run its course.

Protecting the teachers but not the kids....
Tell me that’s not full of politics.

Kids don’t pay taxes, economic drain. Greater Good.

What if someone used his/her stimulus check to purchase the following: a decent webcam with built-in microphone, a laser printer/copier/scanner, and a mobile interactive whiteboard to teach from home if necessary?

What if that same person normally spends 90 minutes per day driving to and from his/her school, but there is nothing in the school building there that the person cannot do from his home now?

Let's say a teacher is sick but is required to go to the school building and on that day the teacher conducts his classes from home. Should school systems force the teacher to use a sick day in that situation? Has anybody even asked or tried to provide an answer to that freaking question?

A.) They probably should have waited, if their intention was to provide a better experience for their students and not just upgrading what they have at home, until they got directives from the district about what school would look like.

B.) You got IT support at home?

C.) No one should work sick. Use a sick day. Don’t drive to school. I assume in the past you didn’t. If you did then that was a stupid policy.

Yeah, and most of the country is like the area where I live. The majority of cases are in a few high population areas. There has been a lot of mismanagement by the local governments in these areas, including (but not limited to) allowing large numbers of rioters to roam the streets en masse, contrary to established guidelines.

A lot of elderly, who are clearly in the high risk group that should be protected and quarantined, have died -- and sadly, that would include the parents of many people. Many of those deaths have been attributed to the virus despite not being tested. Other deaths have been said to be from the virus and then later turned out to be from other unrelated causes. There is no accurate information I know of that correlates the deaths of aged 80+, 90+ or 100+ "victims" of the virus or the likelihood that they would have died during the past several months, even if the virus never existed.

Throw out some more political talking points. Sure, the virus is only a problem in cities, and with the governments in those cities, and blame should be laid at the feet of "rioters" but of course not the legions of anti-mask idiots attending Trump rallies or descending on Florida beaches.

And while we're at it, let's imply that my friends' parents "actually died of something else" when you don't know them at all. Great post

mask or not you can’t stop the virus. If you get it you get it.

after all haven’t they said on a number of occasions: “the mask doesent prevent you from getting it but protest you from other?”

So before you call them idiots do a little voluntary research first.

There are about a billion people that all use the same term "sheep" to accuse someone of being a follower. That irony is hilarious to me.

Your first sentence does not flow from your second like you think it does

So my phone autocorrected. Nice of you to point that out.

It doesent protect you so why should anyone wear one? It does however put you at risk for other terrible things to happen.

It wasn't the autocorrect, just the line of thinking. "It protects others around the wearer more than it protects the wearer..." so far so good... "...so that's why no one should wear one." What? That doesn't make sense as a conclusion

And the risk of college kids getting it are pretty low as well according to the crack pots. So which is it don’t go out and have a normal life or live in fear until after November?

If the first half is true there’s no reason to not play sports at all.
