Got my emissions test done today. In the past, when there was not a covid pandemic, they have you get out of the car and step away while the tech hooks up the device under your steering wheel, then you get back in the car when the tech is done. Today, while there IS a covid pandemic (and one of my sons is on day 17 of being sicker than a dog with it) they were having people stay in their cars during the test. So this sweaty dude had his head within 18 inches of my face while he attached the testing device. What am I missing? I don't want some sweaty dude putting his face that close to me any time, much less while there is rona going around.

Let's start with health care. Those folks are already required to get immunized for Hep B, tetanus and others so the precedent is there. As for other jobs, look at it from the employer's point of view. If he has an employee come down with it he'll likely have to close his business for awhile and the risk to him would be tremendous. A restaurant sure can't afford to have an employee come down with it.

I don't blame her for being pissed, there was never a coherent strategy for a pandemic at a federal level and the states are left to wing it and getting marching order based on whether the governor was red or blue.

As a society we should all be pissed off that not only is there no semblance of national strategy - but that it's being mocked and disregarded.

Football is about to disappear like a fart in the wind, maybe we should just have the players inject bleach and freebase hydrochloroquine.

Truthfully, we don't deserve to bask in the glory of NCAA football. Hire a clown, get a circus.

Nah I don't hate NBA players, they can do them and ill do me. I prefer college basketball to pro though because it's more exciting. BLM doesn't bother me either again you do you and ill do me

I'm a free thinker, I dont need a party or person to tell me how to think.

I didn’t have a job in sports but I use to wear out some parlays..... big money on college and pro football..... my favorite though was college basketball during the non-conference part of the schedule.... talk about easy money.

NBA players are supporting China and their abhorrent child labor practices openly. While at the same time pandering to a racist movement that erroneously claims they are being exploited. The NBA is beyond dumb. Probably a huge reason NBA ratings are continuing to decline.
