are they associating this with covid? I think they are barking up the wrong tree. Every covid19 I've seen and taken care of have echocardiographs and cardiac ultrasounds. I usually assisted. Not one has show the myocardial tissue affected. Who brought this horse puckey up?@NurseGoodVol,
Myocarditis... this looks like it's going to be the next thing used to scare these conferences and schools from playing football. How real of a risk is this?
I can say that those who continue to test positive even after 5 weeks and continue to do poorly will probably have virions in all their muscle tissue. If you don't interrupt the replication with drugs or the immune system it will continue to replicate unfettered. That's really late in the illness though.
