Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

Not really. We are at the point where we are counting on T-Cell memory for pre-exposed people to help fight future infections.
So then whats your solution? Because we can't stay locked down or at this half assed open that we are currently at. We are looking at a long term recovery already. How much longer do you think we should wait?

We're not waiting. Everyone seems to be doing their best to safely open schools, provide quality hair care, and provide a spacious dining experience while social distancing and wearing masks.

Understand this, there is no "FULL open" until we get this under control.

Did not know this. Sucks.

"In late June, citing the pandemic, Cirque du Soleil, a Montreal-based circus company that has dominated Vegas for two decades, filed for bankruptcy protection. As part of the announcement, it laid off 3,500 employees."

And thats a huge issue and a mistake. There are thousands of us out here wondering if we are going to have a job soon. They are unable to meet their basic needs and can't pay their bills or for food. We are already looking at a 5 ish year recovery the longer we wait the longer it will take. You want a 10-15 year economic recovery?

Just so we're all clear, if Biden wins - are the trumpers going to try and blame Biden for not fixing trumps failure to manage this crisis fast enough?

Tell me how you would "Open" the economy? Just what do you want Trump to do?

He should start calling out those implementing the shutdowns and calling for the economy to open. He needs to get faces other than Fauci in front of the country repeating the same. There needs to be a constant and consistent narrative explaining the plan.

Of course that would last 5 min until he got in a fight with a reporter

Lift restrictions on gatherings. Give a tax credit on things such as eating out, travel, entertainment etc.... Have companies bring back their workers and assist them with meeting payroll until they have enough business to support it themselves. Incentivize school to have in person classes. We can keep social distancing, we can keep masks for those who want to wear them, we can do our best with improved cleaning measures. Instead of the healthy sitting at home getting unemployment, have those who are at the highest risk work from home, or be off and let them be the ones on unemployment. Have Cuomo not send sick people back into nursing homes. Encourage people to go out and live their lives, but be responsible. But continuing to hide is the dumbest thing we can do.

He needs the governors to be the ones speaking and encouraging reopening.

No. Pregnant women are screened for Hep B and Rubella. Titers to vaccinations (strep pneumoniae, diphtheria, and tetanus) can be used to assess for immunodeficiency. Antibody testing is useful for mononucleosis , HIV, hepatitis, and to rule out hep C transmission in exposed newborns. Also, convalescent titers are useful when evaluating for rickettsial/tick-borne infections.
I'm sorry I should have been more clear. I mean you as a physician, are you required to do annual testing as a condition of employment? I've never asked any of my physician friends because it never occurred to me.
