There are not many people hiding. Most people have just realistically reevaluated their priorities and getting out less. Large gatherings are not a priority considering we know it increases the spread. Tax credit for people without jobs, How would that help? More bailouts?Lift restrictions on gatherings. Give a tax credit on things such as eating out, travel, entertainment etc.... Have companies bring back their workers and assist them with meeting payroll until they have enough business to support it themselves. Incentivize school to have in person classes. We can keep social distancing, we can keep masks for those who want to wear them, we can do our best with improved cleaning measures. Instead of the healthy sitting at home getting unemployment, have those who are at the highest risk work from home, or be off and let them be the ones on unemployment. Have Cuomo not send sick people back into nursing homes. Encourage people to go out and live their lives, but be responsible. But continuing to hide is the dumbest thing we can do.
I enjoyed my month home with lilreb before I started this assignment. It's nice to be happy at work again. I do miss him when I'm gone.and olreb doesn't cramp her! j/k
Please don't misunderstand. I was kidding. My wife and I been home for 5 months and I'm going nuts because we work differently. I need quiet and she responds by singing. and is driving me crazy. It's a short drive.
Masks are a placebo this thing is going to do what its going to do, the only thing we are doing is drawing it out. There are not many people hiding. Seems you want to throw the socialist kitchen sink at the "Economy" but telling someone they must wear a mask is out of bounds, which would actually combat the spread of the virus.
Not only is it "drawing it out," but it's setting us up for a b***h of a respiratory season. I've been saying this for months...I see the CDC finally thought of it today.Masks are a placebo this thing is going to do what its going to do, the only thing we are doing is drawing it out.
The tax credit is for the unemployment people are getting, in cases its going to help out those who are going to end up in a higher tax bracket because they spent months drawing more than they wouldve received working. Bailouts to covering payroll is better than paying people to sit at home and not go back to work. Large gatherings are not a priority because governors are banning gatherings, if a governor said hey we are dropping the ban they would happen that night. In this case, the socialist kitchen sink is best case scenario to get us up and running quickly.
Contrary to what you've been told, masks are used to help, I repeat help, the wearer from spreading airborne particles. It's not 100% but it helps.Masks are a placebo this thing is going to do what its going to do, the only thing we are doing is drawing it out.

Not only that, but im guessing with the lockdown and now mask mandates immune systems are probably weak as well which will make things worse. Not only is it "drawing it out," but it's setting us up for a b***h of a respiratory season. The democrats have forgotten the narrative of 6 months ago. We were supposed to hunker down so the ER's and hospitals wouldn't get over run. Now that the hospitals aren't in danger of being over run, any outbreak is a serious health emergency. I'm sorry, but people are sick and tired of being lied to.Which again, its not 100% so its just dragging out the inevitable. What happened to 15 days to slow the spread?
Absolutely we are. It doesnt matter who is in Washington they all lie.The democrats have forgotten the narrative of 6 months ago. That doesnt surprise me at all, remebering my high school days, those types of pictures, and hacking into others computers will be common place.Fun fact: Hardin Valley's online virtual orientation today apparently included pornographic pictures. Yay for internet education! What could possibly go wrong?
We're about to finish full week one in person. Watched a video my son took off his 1st grade class and masks are going over about like we figured. Teachers can't teach and police thatMy county in East TN is starting back online, but sports keep getting pushed back or cancelled because of 1 or 2 cases.
Whatever you're advocating, which appears to be herd immunity the quick and hard way, if it's even possible. I know you have your theoretical threshold. You seem to be convinced we have reach the theoretical threshold to open the economy back up to having large gathering. Do we have heard immunity? If not when do we get it if we "open back" up large gatherings? I quoted "open back" because it's not something someone can do. Not the governors and not the President. We're having hard enough time opening up schools because spread among the students. If you want to open the economy back up, Hire more people....which only slows the spread to prevent hospitals from being overrun. So, we're back to the starting point in March.
