Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

I actually checked in with an uber-liberal colleague/friend, and he confirmed that you're definitely off on the "party lines" thing about losing a child vs losing a grandparent. He said you just sound like an idiot.
Oh...well, since you checked with a friend, I guess that does it! I hope you used better logic working your way thru med school, koolaid doc.

So I saw a new map that has my county as a red zone for covid possibility. It goes by the amount of people who show up to the hospital with fever, cough, shortness of breath, or difficulty breathing. If they have one of those symptoms, then they have a covid like illness and it puts your county in a certain zone.

Google the article title “US teachers resist reopening schools despite European lessons” from Financial Times. It’s a pay site but somehow if you google it, it can be read.

So weird.

From the article...
“Ms Oster said the highly politicised atmosphere in the US was not helping: ‘A lot of schools in more liberal areas were thinking about reopening, but just as they were about to do so, the president [Donald Trump] told them they had to. And so a lot of those people turned around and said ‘F-you’.”

Thanks for posting. It's refreshing to see that a few people out there are still using the substance between their ears.

"I am aware of no data that some of the business activities on which even greater restrictions are being put into place with this new order are the major drivers of transmission," he says. "In fact, I think these greater restrictions are likely to drive more activity indoors, a much riskier [environment]….I also believe these greater restrictions will result in more job loss, more hunger, more despair and desperation …and more death from causes other than COVID. And I wonder, are these premature deaths any less worrisome than COVID deaths?"

That’s pathetic

It’s obvious he does not..... I have been to one child’s funeral and it was the most heart wrenching thing I had ever seen.
It's easy to understand, thousands of unborn children are killed every day and it's ok, but heaven help us if a Republican kills off grandma

I saw that the governor of PA has tested positive. He’s a democrat and embraced mask mandates and shutdowns.

Now he has something in common with Trump and I hope he recovers just as quickly.

3,054 COVID deaths so far today. A new record

It really is sad on many levels. But can I ask that once Covid deaths have receded (from time, vaccine, and “herd immunity”), will you still come on here and remind us that 2500 people a day die from heart disease (from mostly modifiable behaviors) and that an additional 1600 people die a day from cancer in the US through (mostly) no fault of their own. Or do those lives and causes not matter? Only the deaths that can be politicized are actually worth mentioning.

Tell me again how this is just the sniffles, Donnie, you worthless POS.View attachment 329124

Manipulating numbers for emotional appeal again. According to the cdc, heart disease kills one person every 36 seconds. That’s 2400 people a day. Averaged over the course of an entire year. From a largely modifiable disease. But somehow I don’t see that on you chart. Wonder why?

It’s a virus. It will continue to cause sickness and death. At least until vaccines and time cause herd immunity. Until then, do what you believe is right to mitigate risk for you and your loved ones.

If you guys think deaths from heart disease in any respect diminish the significance of deaths from the virus you're just flicking stupid beyond belief.

Nope. Not at all. These deaths are definitely significant. I can’t wait til we’re not talking about them anymore.

You realize there is no second round of koolaid, right?

You are kinda using it out of context here.

He can't drink the koolaid and then post a day later and drink the koolaid again.

Why do you think we are almost a year into the pandemic and no one made more n95 mask so that people could simply wear a mask and not be concerned about what others were doing? Do you not find that a little odd?
No because he is so enlightened he never questions anything that goes against the narrative while calling everyone else a cultist
