Person and character does not make up for education. They might be the most wonderful person in the world, but still make a mistake. Med school and residencies make a world of difference when it comes to physicians.

The person and or character ( drive , determination, willingness to admit when they are wrong or take advise from others) absolutely will determine the effectiveness of the Dr. just as much as where he got his education from . Anybody that’s been around health care has known Drs. that have gone to really good schools , but shouldn’t be practicing and not from a lack of education . I would guess that if you are in health care , you know what the whisperers say and why .

It’s not the exception at all . That’s why character and Empathy is so important.

You will also learn who are the addicts, the emotionally unstable, the ones who work the gray area of insurance, and the ones who bring a loaded pistol to the ED and threaten a coworker with it (true story about a Surgeon formerly employed by McRib's hospital).

Yes sir . Most of my family is in health care from MS to Michigan to Virginia . If you know you know and if you don’t , you should try to find and ask the ones that absolutely do . They will tell you who to stay away from .

I think when you go for medical care, especially hospitals. It makes a difference as far as their national rankings go. Usually it means they have and attract the best doctors. Sometimes a good dr and a great dr is the difference between life and death.

How do they intend to validate vaccination status?

At our work they are developing a website on our intranet where you can update your status in the employee directory. Two weeks after last dose and you are mask free and under no social distancing guidelines.

We also wear badges for work - I'm betting eventually we will have an indicator on our badges or a badge extender at some point, wouldn't surprise me.
