Some science doesn't change. The government mislead a lot of gullible people into thinking that regular face masks were effective against a virus......when we have known for over 30 years with over two dozen peer reviewed studies that they weren't effective. Now, the CDC is back to telling the truth after lying to people for over 18 months, saying that standard masks are nothing more than "face decorations". Yeah thanks CDC, we knew that all along. It's criminal is what it is.

I had the exact same instinct. The camera was out to catch the reaction and some of those celebrations looked a little over the top. But mainly, I’m just a skeptic by nature.

Throughout this disaster, I've frequently caught myself wondering: "Are you sure that you aren't crazy? How can so many people attack what you have learned, known, and experienced in your practice?" It's honestly a little bit of a relief to see the recent narrative change.

Not just obesity, but age is also a factor.

I think it is more to it than obesity, although that may also be a factor. I those African countries have been regular users of Ivermectin and HCQ to treat tropical diseases.

It’s not faking. But someone tests positive, they’re listed as a COVID hospitalization whether COVID is the cause or not

With inside knowledge, I can assure everyone this is true. The "incidental" positivity rate locally has been around 40%.

Yeah there is also age which is the other main factor. Median age in North America is 35 and Africa is 18 . They don’t exactly have a large elderly population to die with covid

Same thing has happened with deaths. Just like we've been saying for 2 years. I know the numbers say 900k or whatever. And I know that covid has killed a lot of people. But hundreds of thousands of those are "with" not "from." Who knows what the actual death numbers are?

Exactly, I would like to see the true number that was straight from just COVID with no contributing factors like diabetes, obesity, high blood pressue etc....
