Is covid still a thing? I haven't seen anyone where I live in East TN wear a mask or think one thing about it in at least a year.

Interestingly enough, after less than a day after making this comment, I went for an annual checkup at a dermatologists' office in west Knoxville. When I walked in, half the patients had masks on (granted old people) and the check in desk had the plexiglass shield up and everyone working there was wearing a mask. Oddly enough, when the doctor walked into the exam room, he had his mask on his chin. I suppose they were virtue signaling with the masks to appease certain clientele.

I am 31 and took the vaccine last summer. The only thing I’ve ever worried about and still do sometimes is myocarditis.

Stress of it hits you differently. Or at least it does for me.

I was never any good at cross country because I would get stressed about the race and end up with terrible times. While practice never gave me any issues. Big time swings, 5+ minutes. Didnt matter if I had run the course before, what I did before, or what I had going on. Something about race day screwed me up and slowed me way down. The physiology (hopefully the correct term) of stress is strange.

Ran in high school. Was usually one of the fastest in practice, but come race time I was bringing up the rear and sucking major air. Coach said I was always stuck in my head.

My cousin's husband, a 45 YO ironman in great shape died of Covid. Not vaxxed. They didn't believe it was Covid so they had a 2nd full autopsy. He went to church on Sunday. Started throwing up that night. Died 2 days later. Left behind 5 kids all under the age of 18. He was a great guy and Dad. He left his family with means, thank God. So unnecessary and tragic. I was just thinking Covid felt like it was basically over.

Vomiting sounds like a heart attack. I had 2 different friends die of heart attacks in their early 40's, one started vomiting before he passed, the other was found the next day. My condolences.

Here's the reaction:
1) The sky is falling. Millions if not billions are going to die.
2) A minimum of triple masks will be required.
3) Goggles.
4) Lock downs (especially churches, family get togethers and small businesses; big box stores and liquor stores are ok).
5) Vaccines are the ONLY treatment. Anything else is disinformation and will be subject to censorship.
6) Social distancing (minimum 10 feet).
