Nobody died yet did they ?NYC health officials PUSH for face masks to be worn indoors and in crowds as all five boroughs enter 'high' Covid alert
New York City health officials have pushed for face masks to be worn in all indoor areas and in crowds amid rising Covid cases.
Writing on Twitter Friday, health chiefs reminded residents of the guidance and recommended that they use a high quality N95 mask.
All five of New York's boroughs are now in the 'high' alert level for Covid, says the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), meaning masks are recommended.
It comes amid the arrival of Omicron variants BA.4 and BA.5 which experts fear will spark a surge in infections across the United States.
'To help slow the spread, all New Yorkers should wear a high-quality mask, such as an N95, KN95 or KF94 in all public indoor settings and around crowds outside.'

Ya viruses don’t typically escalate upwards in their spread or virulence after 2.5 years.NYC health officials PUSH for face masks to be worn indoors and in crowds as all five boroughs enter 'high' Covid alert

In Punta Cana, it was pretty bad. Our resort had a water barrier set up and raked the beach constantly. If a priority is to spend a lot of time in the ocean water, it's just not a great time to go.How was the seaweed? I’m thinking of going in the spring, but I’m not sure if I should check out the Bahamas instead.
Natural selection would actually argue that a novel (engineered) virus should increase in transmissabilty and decrease in severity of infection over time, which is exactly what appears to be happening.Ya viruses don’t typically escalate upwards in their spread or virulence after 2.5 years.
Which resort did you attend? I’m looking at Secrets Cap Cana and Secrets Royal Beach, but I’ve read mixed reviews on how aggressive the vendors can be on Royal Beach. I definitely want to hit up that island. Seems like most people recommend that excursion. In Punta Cana, it was pretty bad. Our resort had a water barrier set up and raked the beach constantly. However, the sand/beach and weather was awesome, the resort and food were the best of the several we've been to, and we took a private excursion to Seona Island, which included the most amazing water, marine life, snorkeling, and local cooking. Highly, highly recommend visiting it if you hit the DR.
Dreams Royal, which is connected to Secrets. We went over there several nights for shows/ night life. There are an abundance of vendors, but the beach patrol is vigilant and keeps them from pestering or being too aggressive. They actually have to have a license, and I got a great deal on cigars, had my daughter's hair braided, and picked up a couple of shirts for my boys.Which resort did you attend? That’s awesome. Than you!@davethevol Carlos Galder, and he said I could share his phone number: (829) 723-1229. Tell him your friend from Tennessee recommended him.
My house is on our second tour 1.5 years later. It's about the same. Bad cold. Less of a hacking cough this time.
Oh, and let me get you the name of the tour guide we used for Seona. He was awesome and we are actually staying in touch. Much better than going on one of the booze cruises and not much more expensive.
Welp. Our resident panicker has started today. One of our guys came in with common sinus issues this morning and our panicker started freaking out and now because of him thr one guy has to go get tested. Lord I thought we were past people being idiots over this ****.
