No what you tried was to tell me that I was just like Mad , then doubled down on it , while I could easily have pulled up posts proving that to be incorrect I didn’t ( maybe I couldn’t see the keyboard from my high horse ) . The ones that are still here in this thread are the ones that have been trying to raise the alarm from the start when we saw where they were trying to take it , it wasn’t passing the smell test , things werent adding up . NOW that we are starting to see the truth come out , and will for years … it’s all good , no harm no foul . I’m no Billy badass by no means , I’m just cursed with a good memory and use the search option for clarity .

I did not get a shot, as I was infected early on and trusted in natural immunity over experimental shots. I've tested positive twice since, with very minor cold symptoms. Almost as if my complex immune system works exactly as intended.

Anecdotally, the most symptomatic people I have encountered with the new strain have taken the shots and have not had prior infections.

For perspective: I've probably cared for or discussed with parents around 1,500 patients with CV19. I haven't really used Google, so I'm just a rookie.

I'm not disagreeing with anyone other than those trying to tell people what they should or shouldn't do. As long as you (meaning anyone) present facts and leave others be, I think it's fine.

My personal experience is that I live with a cancer survivor from 2020. I didn't want to take a chance of her getting incredibly sick nor me getting incredibly sick either. We both now believe we had it in late 19. I was as sick as I have been in decades and she had all the symptoms. We have both had it this year. In both our cases our symptoms were more than mild but very short lived. We both weighed all the facts we felt were believable at the time and took the 2 jabs in April last year. We both got boosted later last year. Knew we would eventually get it because its like a cold, unless you are an aberration, you will eventually catch it. We just needed to get through the first few mutations.

It's amazing what a little common courtesy about an untested vaccine can mean to people.

I wonder if we have any recent, within the last 2 years, examples of top down wide spread derision and division based on vaccine status? And I bet most of it goes beyond a few non-personal message board posts. Like well beyond. Like ending marriages and careers.

You know far enough where we actually need to make sure as a society we never go that far again. And the best way to ensure that is actually holding those responsible accountable and not just shrugging off the bad acts in the past because they were just following orders.
