Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

I really think this would have all been over quicker if the senior citizens and immune compromised stayed at home and everyone else went about their business and let it run it’s course.. I bet it was a trial run for something bigger in the future that is being cooked up
All the more important to thoroughly evaluate our response, sans politics, and figure out what we did right/wrong and how we can do better next time. I think we did a lot of wrong

Was my belief from day one.

Oh absolutely.. but I don’t think we are going to learn from it, though.. the people who are supposed to be apolitical don’t seem capable of it

You don't advance in the government without being political.

Party is also irrelevant. They're one in the same, and practically speaking, the bureaucracy is way too big for one of the parties to manage it or have control over it anyway.

Exactly. And vaccines should’ve been provided on a descending age basis as supply came available. Requiring young healthy health care workers be vaccinated first likely killed more vulnerable elderly.

No hun, I’m talking about Fauci, CDC.. they are supposed to be apolitical..as someone in medicine or science , you are supposed to stay detached so that you can remain objective.. ie a surgeon cannot operate on a family member..As a nurse, and coming from a medical family, I can tell you with great confidence that all of these folks let us down, big time. Mainly because they knew better

It's hard to be objective when you are deeply financially invested.

Exactly tly.. he should have been immediately removed from any post he had.. he lacked the distance to be objective.. how is it not a Stark law violation? It may have not been Medicaid/Medicare funded, but I’m sure there were federal dollars involved Edit: we shouldn’t be doing research like this abroad in the first. if it is not safe enough to do here, then it it is definitely not safe to do abroad where their medicine is not up to our standards.. their lab and equipment in Wuhan looked Third World at best.. if you look at the images, they were not following any type of universal protocols and rickety outdated equipment

I don't think of Fauci as financially invested as much as he was zealot-invested. He and Collins were hard core advocates of GOF. We saw it in how they circumvented the crackdown on it. We saw it in the crushing of the lab leak theory. We saw it in his public comments about worrying about the reputation of scientists over what was right. We saw it in his many "noble lies". We saw it in his "I'm science" comments.

The man's ego is so inflated and he's so convinced his view on GOF is right that he puts all at risk to advance his agenda.

Finding this came from the Wuhan lab would be the biggest blow to GOF research and he cannot have that.

Not to mention that the person in the highest position of responsibility for oversight of the type of work he was involved in just happened to be his wife.

Punch drunk on power.

Herbert Hoover of our era.

Now that I am moving back to Nooga and setting up my HCI..I see my old primary care Dr with this. Little presumptuous and arrogant. Even call it a vaccine. Screenshot 2023-03-26 at 1.08.28 PM.png
