Luper is a POS,but sayin Barners used the coach that would most appeal to the Newton family (Luper) is :loco: if she means it in a cheatin type of a way because he was in charge of her son as well, lol!!!! Just another reason the hate the Cocks!!!

Obviously the guy is a good recruiter, and making him a promise of being the starting tailback wasn't one the gentleman couldn't keep. I think the nail was driven right in by saying she's a little bitter. He missed out on playing for a NC and an epic backfield. If a coach stayed persistent with me and promised to take care of me, I would be flattered. I wouldn't give a coniving reporter the chance to aimlessly rip on someone. Seems like they are in the same scumbag category.

You have to be kidding me. I can't totally speak for her situation, but odds are she knows someone committing crimes daily. It may be as simple as parking in a handicap space or listening to downloaded music. Total moral high ground BS!!!!!:boobies:

I mean those of us that live in the upstate of South Carolina know what kind of football factory Bobby Bentley is running at Byrnes High School. I'm sure everything was on the up n up with Marcus.

Parents of athletes wanting to become publicity whores is getting quite annoying. I blame the Chunky Soup commercials.

as a parent i can understand a parent wanting to protect his or her child...but this lady has set herself up as judge and jury on the character of some people...

very, very strange. why insert herself into business that she has nothing to do with? why no mention of South Carolina's issues with the players accepting gratuities? why do anything more to draw attention to her son who, by all accounts, is one of if not the best rb in the SEC. If her son so much as has a brush with the law or the ncaa this is going to get ugly. I just don't understand what would compel her to open her trap when her son is on the path to stardom. She needs to sit down, shut up, and let her son's legs do the talking.

Assuming anything past that would be a judgement of who you "think" she is.[/QUOTE said:
like the evidence she produced against Luper? It is only what she "thinks" he is ... is it not? How then, would her judgement, of who she "thinks" he is, make her point valid? i dont find the two congruent
