I would have stopped D and chewed em out. There tackling way to high. If you notice, the one's that got the tackle still gave up 3-5 extra yards. Quit this arm tacklin sissy crap, go in there and plow somebody!

Won't let me watch the video, but do we even know what type of drill this is? Maybe the emphasis of it is not to lay someone out

Come on guys it's obvious they were told to hit high. Prevent unnecessary injuries at this point. The point of the drill is about angles and toughness not tackling technique. Practice drills always favor the offense anyways

Special props to Channing Fugate (#46). Dude took his men down in a hurry. A.J. looked in mid-season form. Best hit of the group.

You guys doggin Harris do realize it has been a long freakin time since the kid has hit anyone right?

Really, this is what, the second week of contact?

People expecting plays that stand out have clearly never touched an athletic field in their lives, that much is obvious. Nobody is up to speed and looking great even in a couple weeks.

#46 Ryeon Wedley a walk on fullback looked good in the 1 on 1's to me. shed a tackle and scored on his first carry and made Christian Harris miss on his second

I don't know that the coaches want our lb's going down at the thighs and knees of our own players right now

I agree. With today's RBs and WRs, so many have such great leaping ability they will fly right over a low tackle attempt. You see it in the NFL too, guys just believe they can fly and darn if they don't.

I thought they looked pretty good for it being the 5th practice of the spring. It's not like they're playing Alabama this week. That whole video got me pretty pumped. I loved Butch Jones screaming at guys laying on the field. Great pacing in practice. That's going to pay off.

Can someone have the video embedded where I can watch it on here. The video is blocked when I try to view it from the web link. Thanks.

very poor tackling. Crump, Johnson, Fugate all were too high. Plus another thing I noticed was that Brewer may be too undersized for the LB position. he did not look good in that drill
