Yes, the softball practice. Far worse incident than January 6th
This wasn’t as bad as 1/6
1/6 wasn’t as bad as what went on every night in Portland every night for a year and is honestly still a problem. The partisans only seem to have a problem when the other guys do it.
You are trying way too hard.
The softball incident was horrible and thank God no one died. The perpetrator was crazy, just happened to be liberal. Very similar to a crazy conservative. Unfortunately, both sides have their crazies.
Still not as a blatant attack on democracy as 1/6.
1. No one died.
2. Was not inspired by a president and only involved one crazy person, not hundreds.
3. Thank God the Law could get it under control.
An attack on the federal court in Portland is far worse than the temper tantrum in Washington. Neither should have happened and both should have been met force. You throw bricks and Molotovs at anyone you should me met with deadly force. The short sighted of us have a hard time understanding rioting and an attempt to stop American democracy.
Both are bad, the latter is worse.
Thats what it was. Why do you think they were there? Meet and greet?
It 1/6 was an attempt to stop American democracy almost the entirety of last summer in Portland was an attempt to stop American justice.
You guys just sound like a bunch of Karens when you call it a coup, insurrection or an attempt to stop democracy.

While not right, people try to stop the justice system all the time. Running from police, lying to police, avoiding jury duty. Attack in Portland is way above and beyond the normal.
While sad and horrible, not the same as a specific attack inspired by a president.
If Biden told people to go fight at the supreme court to stop the reversal of Roe V. Wade and they broke into the courthouse, injured and killed Police then I would agree. Worse the Portland and just as bad as 1/6.
Sure, let the bullets fly and cull the herd.
While bad the federal building in Portland is not the U.S. House of Representatives in D.C., hours before certifying a President.
Hell, If you don't live in Portland, I bet you couldn't identify the picture or the name of the federal courthouse in Portland.
Carrying water is hard work.
1. No one died only because of poor aim and armed security. Compared to only 1 death (the woman) isn’t very impressive if you’re trying to claim these are vastly different
You are forgetting the Capitol Police officer. If you think his death wasn't cause by the terrorists then you do not support police. This is much bigger concept than a body count.
2. Blaming the president because he said “you have to fight” is an insane standard.
I did not say that was my standard but if you can put down all the water that you carry for him then his responsibility is obvious. It's far more insane to dismiss domestic terrorism.
The softball shooter was a campaign worker and openly inspired by Bernie, a presidential candidate.
Bernie told a campaign worker to take a gun and shoot the GOP? More than likely not, he was just a man confused, and crazy like many of the 1/6 terrorists.
3. The law got both under control
Eventually, yes
I don't understand the reverence for and worship of the capitol building or the people that work there.
If this were an insurrection or coup the participants and inspiration really sucked at it's planning.
The reverence for the Capitol building goes along with the concept of patriotism and the belief in America.
The workers, yes, I support law enforcement and other human beings trying to live there life and contribute to society.
