He definitely has the best sources in Memphis re: Memphis area recruits.

Nichols: possibly
JW3: The only way i see him in Knoxville is if he can't get into Georgetown which is unlikely (see Allen Iverson). Just like Nichols sister is at UT, JW3 brother is at George Mason which is located in the DMV area.

As if this Leroy dude already wasn't taken for as a joke, he has hubbs listed as 6'9". Dude needs to quit smoking whatever it is he's getting from the Memphis streets....UT not in Hubbs top 5 and now Hubbs is 6'9".

AWESOME! Any credibility this fool had is shot.

JW3 - with visits to Georgetown, Mizzou, and possibly Michigan State? Certainly behind G'town.

Hubbs - new ballgame; hope to be on short list (UK, Duke, Auburn, UT). KU and UCLA are unk's.

I'm still not sure how some of these rivals writers get their jobs. Shouldn't, you know, having basic grammar skills be a prerequisite?

My Memphis buddy has shown me a few sports pages from the Memphis newspaper. It doesn't surprise me in the least that any "reporter" in Memphis would be biased against UT on a crazy level.

The Jw3 seems to be the one many have a varying opinion on. I've heard, from very reliable people, UT is the clear cut leader at this point.

You should be skeptical of anyone claiming there is a clear cut leader for JW3 at this point, or any of these three really.

There's as much competition for these three than any 3 recruits in the class IMO.

Watson is absolutely correct on Nichols. His dad is very high on Vandy. Personnally I think it will be Vandy, us or Auburn (outside chance because of the recent hire). I live just outside of Memphis and have some connections at Briarcrest (Austin's HS) and this appears to be the latest info. He will be visiting Vandy next weekend. He'll be at Virginia this weekend.

JWIII is still very interested in Georgetown but Memphis has gotten back into the picture after the committments of King and Crawford. They are all good friends. I still think he'll leave Memphis however.

Hubbs is a hard read. He may go with Nichols but I hear UK :no: is in this now.

I would go with moron, but i don't expect utenn to get any of these recruits. Lots of playing time for all these recruits, but no chance at success when it comes to the SEC or NCAA. Utenn would have to get all 3 to even have a chance in the ncaa...and thats not happening.

The only selling point utenn has with these kids is a chance to play 6 hours from home. Thats not going to cut it when it comes to top 50 players.

PS: i dont think Memphis gets these kids either!
