I'll take it as Florida had a chance to schedule a quality non conference opponent and passed, opting instead for a 2-9 I-AA team!

Also, Michigan beat Wisconsin and Notre Dame. I would say those quality wins are better than LSU and Arkansas (translation: Tennessee and UGA are not quality wins).

UF's game against WC is irrelevant in this conversation.

The bowl games will prove which were better quality wins. UT and UGA are better wins than UM has for their 3rd and 4th best win.

LSU will paste Notre Dame. Arkansas will outrun Wisconsin. Tennessee would surely beat all other teams on Michigan's schedule excluding Ohio State. Georgia would do alright in there, as well.

What quality team did Wisconsin beat to merit such high attention as a "quality" win? Notre Dame for that matter as well.

It's not Florida's fault that FSU sucks. I doubt that was intended to be a cupcake game.

LSU > Wisconson
Arkansas > Notre Dame

How is #17 Tennessee not a quality win? And who else has Michigan played?

Florida State hasn't exactly been stellar for the past 5 seasons. They have averaged 4 losses since 2001, so it isn't like Florida was going out and scheduling a world beater.

Also, how do you figure that Arkansas is better than ND?

It's an in state rival, so it's not like they are going to cancel it. And you don't expect FSU to be down, you expect them to be a 9-10 win team, certainly not a 6-6. As for the other non confrence games, Florida and Michigan both scheduled one traditional power and three traditional cupcakes, so I don't see the argument.

Arkansas drilled Tennessee, drilled Auburn, and played tough against LSU and Florida. Who did Notre Dame actually beat this year? They havn't beaten anybody who is currently ranked in the AP top 25.
