The 25 year old should purchase catastrophic insurance on his own, but at the same time, I think he should have some protection that he will be covered if he actually has to use it.

I will say this though. Everybody saying he should just have to pay it off the rest of his life is living in a dream world. No way a hospital will agree to a 50 year plan or $50/month. They would be better off to just eat the cost and over charge in other places. Just like what is happening now. At least that way they are guaranteed the money.

i'd argue this is primarily due to the fact that they have no way to go after these people. particurally since the majority are illegal immigrants. change the law and let them collect and they will start collecting.

Pelosi even talked about her being the most powerful woman in the history of politics, because she knows she could get any dem member of the House to vote for anything we wants them to. The notion that you think there is actually a such thing as a blue dog dem shows your ignorance on the issues, all dems are the same.

You really have a lot to learn. As you grow up, you will find that making this type of statement is pure stupidity and ignorance. There is a huge difference between Nancy Pelosi and Phil Bredesen.
