Michael Vick has a year of eligibility remaining and appears to be having trouble finding a home in the NFL.

vick LMAO and you all dont want legaux ??? vick can launch a ball, but with my wore out shoulder i bet i could hit more targets @ 25 yards :post-4-1090547912: and if this is debatable, ask the same tight end that both of us threw to, browning wynn.

I dont think we're gonna have to worry about not getting a QB this year. Say Scroggins doesn't commit, who cares. Offer Chase Rettig, and i guarantee you he will commit. He's the best guy to go after, he proved he's got what it takes at the skills camp, and he has no offers so far. Kiffin needs to offer this kid fast!!

There is a reason Rettig does not have offers. He is a long term project, we need someone that can come in a play soon.

Let's assume that we miss on an elite guy in this class and pick up a serviceable backup.

Who are we going to be looking at in 2011 and how much better are they then Jake Heaps/Jesse Scroggins.

I'm not being factious. I think this would be a good discussion.

Everett Golson
Pro-style quarterback
Myrtle Beach (SC) Myrtle Beach

Ht: 6-foot-0
Wt: 170 lbs
Vertical: 35 inches
GPA: 3.8
Class: 2011 (High School)

Bear in mind these are Sophomore highlights.

he will need A TON of work to work from under center. LeMay is by far the better QB.

Did you see what he did his sophomore year, this kid is very underated. I think he would be successful under Kiffin.

With his interest climbing DaMarcus is looking to open a few more eyes and may have done so at a recent stop at the University of Tennessee.

“Tennessee had some really good quarterbacks in camp the same day DaMarcus was there. They had DaMarcus and two other quarterbacks they are high on (Class of 2010 Jesse Scroggins was one) all throw together with Coach Kiffin watching them. Tennessee now has a real interest in DaMarcus and felt they didn’t see no difference between all three of them moving DaMarucs up to number one on their list of 2011 quarterbacks."

Everett Golson kid made some great plays and throws. Every freaking down -- EVERY LAST ONE -- was from the shotgun. Spread stinks.

He's a long term project?...says who?
He had terrific stats his soph. year, and they dropped last year. Why? Did he have a wicked corn on his bunyon that hampered him all season? No. Did he just suck? No...his performance at camp showed that's not the case. Why then?
His team had 10 injuries on offense last year, and it made for a dismal season...like we had last year, except our excuse wasn't injuries. Our offense just plain sucked.

Once the season starts and if Chase returns to his sophomore form, he'll be getting plenty of offers. Teams are just waiting and watching at this point. Regardless of whether Scroggins commits or not, I'm thinking we'll offer Rettig by the end of the month
