I'll always celebrate someone getting to retire, but I'll for dang sure miss Chuck.

Hopefully they find a worthy replacement.

Are all of Lindsey Nelson renovations supposed to be completed by start of next season or is there one more year of renovations after the 2025 season?

I hear the major renovations will be done this year. They were not sure the facility beyond RF will be done for hitting and pitching lab and workout facility. They were planning on it but still a few hoops to jump through. There will definitely be some smaller upgrades the next year according to my insider, not Kirby.

In the VQ War Room last night they talked about facilities. Unfortunately, it sounds like the LNS renovations will be more limited in scope this off-season and rather than completing everything in this phase, it will be a three phase ordeal with 2026 looking more likely for everything to be done.

Honestly that is what I thought would happen. To get what they wanted done by February was going to be tough.

Sounds like the necessary utility work is way behind schedule. VQ was under the impression that the only renovations that will be done in this phase will be the upper deck down the RF line and that’s it. But obviously that could change.

Saw you at CWS. I am so thrilled you got to experience it with people you love ... live and in person! I had family who drove from Chattanooga for the CWS, but I watched it from my lounge chair in my air conditioned house.
My brothers and I did a three way call (Alabama, North Carolina, and Tennessee) for 3 hours watching the games together and doing running commentary. :^)
My youngest brother was singing, "we are the champions of the world ... " it was definitely off key, but I joined in.
