There are no elevators. There are seats near the concourse you can walk almost directly to however.I want to take my mom to a good SEC game in Lindsey Nelson this year but she can't do much steps. Can someone recommend sections that you can get to with an Elevator and won't involve more than 3 steps up or down?
It looks like a mess, but I’m sure they have a plan to make it not only playable, but safe. It might not look terribly pretty around LNS, but these Vols are going to be lights out.Leaving the basketball game yesterday, I saw the exposed concrete on the left field side from the frat house parking lot. Looks like they have a LONG way to go.
Question: will the field be playable and just certain parts of the stadium are inaccessible to fans? Can they keep working during the season? I think that happened with Vandy's football stadium, right?
…Yes turf should be banned and Crash Davis died on that hill years ago along with the designated hitter when he played in Durham.
Oh yeah no doubt, it surely does prevent a lot of cancellations, but I do prefer real grass and dirt. It surely isn’t enough to prevent me from enjoying a game just a personal preference.…
Welcome… I guess.
We play on the surface preferred by Tony Vitello. That’s good enough for me and most around these parts. There are a few that would disagree, but for a relatively short college season, turf plays a huge role in completing the schedule.
How do you feel about sacrificing a base runner by bunting?
Yes. This is a test.
Too bad they're no longer the single A for the Braves anymore like they were when I was growing up. I'm a NC transplant into Knoxville for the past 6 months and I'm just soaking up all the major differences between the ACC atmosphere vs the SEC atmosphere. No doubt SEC brings a lot more energy to most major sporting events from what I have witnessed. The level of play is much more competitive in the SEC as well which is always a good thing. SEC is becoming a much better basketball conference than the ACC as of late too.The Durham Bulls don't practice and play on January-March midsouth grass and mud fields.
