Lindsey Nelson Stadium,

Too bad they're no longer the single A for the Braves anymore like they were when I was growing up. I'm a NC transplant into Knoxville for the past 6 months and I'm just soaking up all the major differences between the ACC atmosphere vs the SEC atmosphere. No doubt SEC brings a lot more energy to most major sporting events from what I have witnessed. The level of play is much more competitive in the SEC as well which is always a good thing. SEC is becoming a much better basketball conference than the ACC as of late too.
In baseball it’s become the SEC and everyone else, don’t think that was true 10 years ago.

I’m a bit surprised at concrete being poured with the cold forecast. Maybe someone in construction knows better than me, but I thought cold and curing were not ideal. Granted, most of my concrete experience is in Haiti, and it was not at all too cold there.
Concrete can be poured in cold weather, but special precautions must be taken to prevent it from freezing and to ensure it cures properly. It's important to keep the concrete temperature above 40°F during the curing process to maintain its strength. They can create a tent of sorts out of plastic or tarps and can force warm air to prevent freezing.

Cold is actually a good time for the concrete to cure.
I used to work of Air Liquide in Millington, TN. They were pouring a large floor foundation for the computer warehouse in the mid-90s. The actually came to us for dry ice pellets to add to the concrete to prevent it from getting too hot during the dog days of summer.

Welcome… I guess. 😉
We play on the surface preferred by Tony Vitello. That’s good enough for me and most around these parts. There are a few that would disagree, but for a relatively short college season, turf plays a huge role in completing the schedule.

How do you feel about sacrificing a base runner by bunting?

Yes. This is a test. 😉🤙🏼🧡
