Glad to hear they widened the concourses as well.(1) Sound. Excellent news. the sound was blaring in prior years
(2) Why do we care if the media has great seats? It's 2025, not 1925. Time to move past giving all but broadcasters premium, free seating with food.
(3) I wonder how much will be done before the end of the season, I doubt there will be more seats but will the concourses and exterior walkways will be completed.
(4) The restrooms in grandstand were getting really bad. I would rather see all the concessions move out to the plazas and leave bathrooms and first aid only under the grandstand
(5) It appears the student section is largely tiered rails. Love that

Thought I would share this Tweet as it has some good photos of Lower Hudson Field.
I went to a handful of games there so I was having trouble remembering the specifics.
Would love to know who Vols are playing in the 2nd photo with so many people in attendance.
Hard to believe this is where LNS sits now.
To help my daughter's high school group raise money this fall, I worked a concession stand in the Neyland Social Deck which is a lot like this area. Not too far off the Mark Connor baseball camp days and my Freshman/Soph years at UT.
So much fun sitting that close to the action and heckling the opposing team's hitters. You could hear the conversation between batter, hitter, and umpire.
I guess that is why I am a bit sentimental and sad about moving students to the outfield. Plus, who wants to stand in the cold of March or the heat of June?
That is just crapping on your students.
Maybe it included the cost of the high rise dorm they were planning outside right field?I pulled up the architectural drawings after getting a good look at how things are turning out. Am I pulling this out of thin air or was it at one time mentioned there was almost 80 million connected to this renovation? Gotta be honest, it feels like we've been absolutely fleeced if that is the case. It's not that it isn't better, I just cannot get past the thought that they didn't increase capacity any more than they did.
Man, I'm glad the restrooms are getting an update, but I'm gonna be bummed if they removed those old school warehouse blower heaters in there.
Those were a lifesaver in those Feb/March games.
Yep. Those things were set on blast. Warmed you up in a minute.Man, I'm glad the restrooms are getting an update, but I'm gonna be bummed if they removed those old school warehouse blower heaters in there.
