Line up to -9.5 for Bama

Goodness that’s a massive blow if true. I’m sure someone is going to decide I’m being negative now or whatever. Huge loss if true in addition to both our best defensive backs potentially out.
Alabama by not ours. If you believe he is out, the vegas line would move more towards us if vegas were in the know.

Vegas knows who is playing as much as we do and nothing has been confirmed. The line moved to even the money

I think that's over-stating it.

We've been without Cedric for a few weeks now. Since Akron, right? Beat Florida without him. Beat LSU without him. He's awesome, we all know, but Keaton has filled in admirably for him in his absence, while Hyatt and McCoy have done awesome picking up some of the slack. Even young Squirrel White has begun contributing in a meaningful way. We're not hurting at WR.

Our defensive backfield is a different story. But then, it has been the lumpiest part of our oatmeal from the very start of the season. And we've been without Burrell most of that time. Hadden, if he does miss this game, would be another hit. But the sky's not falling. We're gonna be okay, I think. Trust the coaches to shift things around, patch things up, and keep driving.

Go Vols!

Lol yeah I hope so. I was on the edge over here thinking not only are both our starting defensive backs potentially out but now possibly our best defensive end (“BY”). Glad that’s not true!

And UT is down 3 starters on an already thin/bad secondary… UT’s best wr is still out as well
Three starting DBs? What three? Burrell, maybe Hadden (no sources are saying Hadden is for sure out, unlike Tillman)...and who is the third?

Saban will hold him out and save him for later in the season when they have a chance of winning and there’s more in the line. They are still in control of their destiny even with a loss.

Nah. BY will take the shot and give it the ole college try. It’s my understanding his injury takes time to heal and until it is, it’s all about pain management.

Not trying to flame you, but that doesn’t make any sense and is completely wrong.
You apparently don't understand how a betting line works. A betting line is set so that an equal amount is bet on each team. If one team has more bets, the bookies will change the line to make it more favorable to the other team in order to equalize the bets.

Correct. But you said all the money was on Tennessee so in order to make it “harder for Tennessee to cover” they moved the line up. If they wanted more money on Alabama they would have moved it down. Ask yourself, if you were betting on Alabama, would you rather have Alabama -6, -7, or -9? Obviously-6. Moving the line up to -9 discourages betting on Alabama.
