Lineup Suggestion

Seems like ON is either on or off, I may be wrong, but he did have 2 games where he didn't miss a shot. I think if he's on I play him 20+ minutes. If he gets off to bad start 14 minutes or less. Seems streaky to me as an casual observer but not looking into his game-by-game stats.

Which is why I hope he sits today and they let him get back to 100%.
The shoulder won’t heal during the season. It took one awkward collision against Kentucky to set him back. At this point, you play him when HE feels ready, in my opinion. Regardless, he will be compromised the rest of the year to some degree.

Shoulders and knees are tenuous. Those are joints with a lot of moving parts. The best way to heal them, many times, is extended rest to the affected joint. Since we have to walk every day, use our hands and arms every day, etc, it is truly hard for a high-level college athlete to rest, especially during the season. Think of Santi and the number of hits he takes during the course of a single game. I have no idea about his personal prognosis, but when I hear about continued issues with JJJ’s knees or Santi’s shoulder, I cringe a little. Then, I cross my fingers. Let’s hope for the best.

Fingers crossed. It feels like stomach bugs and colds have been trying to make up for lost time this year. At least that’s how it’s been in my house.

Sickness is one of those random variables affecting NCAAT success. It would be great to get that behind TN this year while continuing to get wins.

Without Plavsic, there was better spacing and better ball movement today and a 21 point win in Baton Rouge is very rare for Tennessee.
And we also gave up a bunch of baskets at the rim when Aidoo wasn’t playing. I think Aidoo and Uros both do a good job of moving within the flow of the offense. I definitely like our D, rebounding, and challenging shots better with one of those 2 in the game. We were on fire from 3 until late in the game after the outcome was decided. We’re not going to shoot 40%+ from 3 every game.

Not the best at finishing when he does either. Can’t or don’t ever use his right hand to finish. Vescovi doesn’t use his either.
I noticed JJJ did score on a right hand layup against LS(Who) Saturday. Like George Jefferson he’s moving on up!

We missed our last 8 three pointers. We allowed a number of shots from short range. Aidoo affects these shots. Uros makes opponents think.
