Great day for the Vols. I can't believe we came out with a stack of what look to be great players. We are ahead of or within spitting distance of every team in the SEC not named Bama, Georgia, or LSU. I'll take that given where we are at as a program.

Hopefully Pruitt can pull in another few to round it out, but even now this class is legit.

I can't wait to see how this class ranks 2 or 3 years from now, that will be the true measure. However, it does appear this staff did a great job filling needs. Go Vols!

We are ranked #9 and there are still six SEC teams ahead of us. Makes me sick the recruiting power of the SEC.

I think there's a large misrepresentation of the quality of the recruits that are located within Southeast conference territory as opposed to other territories

This class looks a LOT like Fulmer's 90's classes. I remember counting 14-15 4stars and maybe a couple 5's mixed in. This class will win a championship. I believe this Staff is better,

Not sure I'm quite where you are yet. In CPF's prime, there were some consistently great (what we would call now) top 5 classes......This class in a humongous step in the right direction. Inky says in his speeches all the best players in Atlanta revered CPF more than any other HC when he played. He said everyone knew Fulmer owned Atlanta.

It looks like that is what CJP is trying to do with Memphis!

This really is without question one of the best college football forums in the country - paid or otherwise. The traffic here coupled with the UI and especially Freak, staff and members ability to post good information (as well as the dross that comes from any passionate fanbase like ours) is without parallel IMHO.

It's apparent from the 2nd half of the season that our coaching, especially our defensive coaching gives the Vols an edge. The sky is the limit with the talent we recruited today. Very exciting.

2021 will need a qb 2-Rb 1-2 Ot 2-3 Dt 2-3 cbs.
To fill in needs and keep the restocking going.

For reasons I cannot explain...maybe it's just the VFL in me...I really like this class. I haven't looked, but I can't help but wonder if any other 7-5 team out there had the haul that we did today. And maybe more to come.

The CJP era is unfolding before our eyes. He's a proven winner at every level he has coached at. This is a new level, and a big step up for him. He's made his mistakes, and certainly more will come, but at this point I really like the fire he has brought to this program. The Tennessee Volunteers are on their way back, and Coach Jeremy Pruitt is planting his flag in Neyland Stadium.

Personally, I think the General would be okay with it.

To this point, CJP and his staff have proven they can recruit talent. This season, they proved they can develop that talent. If the current trend continues, regardless of what the rest of the SEC...East or West...does, by 2021 at the latest the Tennessee Volunteers are going to be a Top 10, maybe Top 5 team. And as the wins come, so will the elite recruits.

September was a really tough month to be a Vol fan. But the last four (so far) have been pretty good. Let's see what this staff, and team, can do in a bowl game where all they're playing for is one another.

Watching SEC network..they don't have us in the top 10. They use ESPN's rankings which have our class at # 18. Yes...it seems ESPN really does hate us.
