Locked In 🔒 NCAA Tournament Edition

This clown on ESPN just referred to Dawn Staley as incomparable. Either she doesn’t know the meaning of the word, or she’s an idiot. I guess she could actually be both! 🤣
It was probably a new word for her and she wanted to use it in a sentence. She was horrible. She also looked like she wasn’t wearing anything under her jacket. ESPN has got to upgrade it’s coverage. Andrea is better than anyone they had on today! Sorry Nicki.

Boys play at 2:45 on Thursday.-- CBS. I would love to know when our girls play and what channel. (And hopefully it isn't going to be that whip around crap)

BUFFALO BULLS - strong team, but they can be beaten by a dedicated defensive team
Dyaisha Fair (Jr, 5-5) -- does it all, 23.4 ppg. 36.7% 3-pt, 4.3 apg, All-MAC 1st
Summer Hemphill (Gr, 6-1) -- 13.1 ppg, 10.4 reb, All-MAC 2nd, MAC All-D
Georgia Woolley (Fr, 6-0) from Australia -- MAC FOY -- 3-pt ace, don't let her shoot, 14.6 ppg, All-MAC 3rd
Adebola Adeyeye (Sr, 6-2) -- rebounder, tough inside, physical

Buffalo seems like a challenge. That team is a good tournament team every year.

Buffalo is a solid team. They still have players that were on the sweet 16 team that played SC. They have a guard who might be the best player on the court when they face Tennessee. SC played them again in the Battle for Atlantis this year and she scored 22. I think she average about 24 points per game. I think the Lady Vols will win the game but they will have to play their game.

Oregon isn’t the WORST matchup for us. Our defense is TOUGH and there’s isn’t at all. We’ll be at home on our floor trying to get to the S16 if we play them. If we get past that game.. we could make the Elite 8.. I don’t think Baylor makes it past Ole Miss
depends upon whether or not their shots are falling, especially the 3, some inconsistency with that all year ---- brings to mind the nightmare that was Oregon State in Knoxville a few years back, though

Didn't Iowa beat them by 33 points ?
Edit no they did not but South Carolina beat them 88-60 but they did beat Syracuse.

If we had Horston I'd feel pretty good about the first two rounds. As it is, I think Tennessee is favored in the first round but Oregon will be a tough game for Tennessee in Round 2. Just a shame to get here without Horston or Green. We were a completely different team once upon a time.

I don't feel good about Oregon. They have a lot of 3 point shooters and Tennessee does a poor job of closing out.

Pathetic. "They need to play in Bridgeport" is pathetic. A team with 12 national titles who managed to avoid having 3-4 more losses on their schedule due to circumstances, and they've got their former player on national TV whining about how they need more breaks and more benefits.
They are the team nobody wants in their bracket….why is that? Everyone says they don’t deserve a two seed or to be in the Bridg Region, but they are the one team nobody wants a piece of right now. Think about that.

Will the Lady Volunteers feast on Buffalo wings as a pre game meal?
