Locked In 🔒 NCAA Tournament Edition

If we had Horston I'd feel pretty good about the first two rounds. As it is, I think Tennessee is favored in the first round but Oregon will be a tough game for Tennessee in Round 2. Just a shame to get here without Horston or Green. We were a completely different team once upon a time.

Just glad to play at home and for the most part as easy a bracket as you could've gotten in. NC St and UConn in one, SC in another, and Stanford in the other. Were in the best bracket to have the chance to move far. Win the two at home and then see who we have from there.

Oregon isn’t the WORST matchup for us. Our defense is TOUGH and there’s isn’t at all. We’ll be at home on our floor trying to get to the S16 if we play them. If we get past that game.. we could make the Elite 8.. I don’t think Baylor makes it past Ole Miss

Top25 team most of the year, but like us, they struggled down the stretch

Not really seeing the struggle down the stretch.

The worst loss was to Utah in Pac-12 tournament. But a 4 pt loss to Stanford and an OT loss to CU in Boulder (elevation) arent bad. They are 7 points from being on a 6 game win streak prior to the Utah loss.

Lobo was crying about Uconn before the selection show came on. Said they needed to be a 2 seed instead of a 3 seed and needed to play in Bridgeport where they belonged. Just another reason I cannot stand to even hear her talk.

Pathetic. "They need to play in Bridgeport" is pathetic. A team with 12 national titles who managed to avoid having 3-4 more losses on their schedule due to circumstances, and they've got their former player on national TV whining about how they need more breaks and more benefits.

Maybe struggled wasn’t the best word. They weren‘t exactly lighting the world on fire. 3 point win over 14-12 Ucla, hard to gauge the quality of that conference outside of Stanford.

The thing that makes the Pac-12 especially hard to analyze (thinking UCLA) is the COVID policy completely wrecked the initial part of the league season. UCLA went weeks without a game. Sometimes teams played games every other day to try and get them in. I'm not even sure if everyone played everyone in the conference or not. They could really wreck some brackets in the sense I'm not sure any of them (outside of Stanford) are really seeded appropriately.

I think before we start assuming TN will play Oregon, we have to get past Buffalo, and Oregon has to get past Belmont. We cannot assume based on seedlings, and talent alone is going to win us games. Focus on one match at a time. Let’s not overlook anyone in this tournament. Let’s not forget, everyone is going to bring their A game, and anyone can be beaten by any one of these teams!
