Hmmmmm....
"Lang testified at Young's trial that other universities, including Georgia, Kentucky, Arkansas, Memphis, Mississippi, Michigan State and Tennessee, offered him money or jobs to get Means."

I think you're a year early in your predictition...too much defense to replace and a QB to break in.(RammerJammer84 @ Apr 12 said:Maybe in the long run this is the best thing for him to be going away.....( not that brutal murder is good for anyone) his lawsuits will not go forward, Bama is off all probation soon... I believe it to be true...Alabama's got the probation to prove it. But it's also true that these were "boosters" bidding for this kid. Roy Kramer, in his own admission in court transcripts, notified ALL schools EXCEPT Alabama that rogue boosters were doing this...they "reigned in" their boosters and Alabama was hung out to dry. This isn't "conspiracy speculation" it is fact...it's also ancient history and the playing field is approaching level again.(VOLracerx @ Apr 13 said:old news - never came up with anything from that guy-besides -are you gonna belive someone that would sell a kid for 150K??

"Offered" is much different than "ponied up the cash".
Is it?...I was merely pointing out that Tenn was also involved in the bidding, as much as Alabama was, since y'all enjoy labeling Bama "cheaters". If not for Kramer's warning y'all could have been proud recipients of Mr. Means' services.
