LOL at florida fans

They woke up this morning with a chance to be in the national championship. After a fla st. scare, they ended up pulling it off, and all their hopes resided with LANE KIFFIN. Can you imagine what that last goal-line stand must have been like for gator fans? Kiffin screwed over 2 states tonight. I LOVE it.

edit: my bad mods...I actually meant to post this one in the dreaded "around the ncaa".

well...you also got to think the Florida are LOLing at Vol fans because at the first of the year Vol fans were saying Tennessee was going to finish the year with 8 wins or more and challenge for the east champ....FL is going to a bowl.

I honestly can't believe the things I'm hearing right now. Florida just had their national championship dreams for this year crushed by lane kiffin, and people are ragging on ME for celebrating this fact? I honestly don't know what world I'm living in right now> Let's congratulate fla on a better-than-expected season and give them a UT-donated consolation prize for being so proud of them. Can someone please tell me what is happening right now?

Sure, I'm glad that they didn't make the NCG but I would be lying if I said I wasn't envious of their record.

Best result was Muschamp solidifying his position.

you'd think at this point, this kind of thinking would cease.

i think muschamp has proved himself. especially considering that he is a defensive specialist and his defenses continue to be dominant.

but, go ahead, pretend he's a clueless joke capable of only throwing quality temper tantrums.

Congrats on your big Kentucky win.

Back in August I honestly thought 8-4 was the ceiling for this team. I expected losses to UGA, LSU, FSU, with potential losses at TAMU and UT.

I couldn't be happier with how the season played out for us.

Gotta give credit where credit is due.. Muschamp has really surpassed expectations and the hiring of Pease seems to be brilliant.. As much as I hate to admit this shyt..

How could you even suspect a potential loss to UT? We are on the home stretch of a decade long losing streak to UF. Two more and it reaches double digits.

Dude really expectations were really high for us after the NC St Gm and I fell for the okie dok also.. This has been a suprising team (gators) this yr, really great job by Muschump

When the season started it wasn't all that difficult.

UF looked unimpressive against Bowling Green. We beat Texas A&M, not knowing how big win it was at the time, but came limping into Knoxville without out best defender (Jenkins) and Gillislee was 50/50.

Meanwhile Tennessee lit up what was supposed to be a very good NC State secondary and early on looked the part of an SEC contender.

I just found it harder to believe that a Gator fan would take any of that seriously. I thought maybe the stars would align and Dooley would want to save his own ass, but he wasn't even good enough to do that. It is the same song and dance just about every year. It always ends in a UT loss.

Reasonable.

Just the way it goes. Most years the team who loses the SECCG would have gone to a BCS bowl if they had just gotten to sit at home.

A lot of that's often the fault of the human polls/voters having a less-than-a-week-long memory

...another part is how whoever decided that the conference championships would actually factor into a team's seasonal record
