Lone fan awaits Ducks in Eugene

Before the end of his address, Kelly told a story about Coach Lee Corso waiting for him for two hours after the game. Corso congratulated Kelly, saying he’d never been more proud of a football team,” also thanking him and the team for “everything they give to college football.”

I know lots of people like to rag on Corso, but that's a pretty awesome thing to do.

Would be good to use as "negative recruiting" on them. Went to the Championship game, and their fans cared so much, that 1 person showed up to meet the team at the airport.

Their arrival time and date at the airport were kept secret so that fans didn't come.

Everyone can say what they want about people not stalking the team for their return at the airport, but here's a video of the team at a citywide parade for our champions yesterday:

Make fun of that.

If there would have been a huge crowd at the airport, it would have been all over the Oregon news and been so awesome.

However, since one dude showed up, its because no one did it because it's considered stalking? Gotcha

How did the news and the single fan know about it?

He obviously had no idea, considering he waited at the airport for hours...news outs tend to find out and show up quickly at events such as these.

He waited for hours because the flight was delayed, not because he did not know.

With flight delays adding on several hours, a single fan greeted the Oregon Ducks football team on their arrival.

Brad Kyle said he maintained the lonely vigil to show his support.

How did news outlets and the fan know but nobody else did?

I don't know. Contact Brad Kyle and KGW, come back, and tell me what you found out.
