Looking At The Scoreboard...

I won't be the least bit shocked to see Tennessee come back from Orlando winless. That said, their greatest flaw, experience, may be their greatest strength in this tourney. They just need to go out and play basketball and they could impress some people in Florida.

At least there's not much of a book out on us yet.

No, I'm going to spend Thanksgiving in Knoxville with the wife to be. I'm going to be in New Orleans for Ole Miss-UNO the next weekend then Philadelphia for UT -Temple the next.

Wow, congrats, sir.

I'm single, so I might do the crazy thing and hit it all Thanksgiving weekend. My second family is the O&W.

Hey Hat, is the Temple game being played at the Liacouras Center or Wachovia Center?

Have fun man and enjoy that trip. I would like to see what Andy K. can get out of Terrance Henry, Terrico White and Murphy Holloway. Those 3 players should add some good stuff to the team.

Liacouras. The only time I can remember Temple playing at Wachovia was against Duke. Come to think of it, they might have played IU there toward the end of Coach Knight's tenure. Can't remember if that the building was open yet. If it wasn't, they played in the Spectrum.

Georgia is getting clocked by Loyola of Chicago. I'm seeing some scores that just don't bode well for the SEC as a whole.

I clearly remember the Duke game, but I had thought they played some more games at Wachovia. Either way, enjoy the game, I feel like it is going to be a relatively close one, and enjoy watching Dionte Christmas.

I think they've played Villanova there, but it was considered a Wildcat home game. I saw Temple live a couple of times last year. Dunphy's going to do very well there.

I agree,, I think they are going to compete for the A-10 title with Xavier, UMass, and URI. After watching Dayton open up last night, their weak schedule will inflate the status of that team until conference play begins.

Also, X's 7 foot freshman Kenny Frease is going to be a hauss for the next 4 years.

I don't think Rhode Island will end up being very good. St. Joe's will, as always, have something to say about who wins the league. St. Louis and GW should be better.

I forgot to mention St. Joes, they will be tough this year. GW always finds a way to compete, Karl Hobbs is a good coach. As for Rhode Island, they are athletic, and returning Jimmy Baron is a huge plus for them. I know they were picked 9th preseason, but I have higher expectations for them, and I'm not just saying that because they competed with Duke.
