Agree with this post, but Baldbiker, gotta question for you specifically.

How can you agree with this statement and have such harsh comments toward me directly in other threads because of what I defend, and know to be facts?

Just asking

Reporting for my tongue lashing MZT. :hi:

As far as I know. The most negative thing I have ever said about you, is I like your posts but whether you post on VN or not will not change my life in any way. Really not sure what you are talking about, because even that (within the context of the conversation that was going on) was not meant as an attack on you.

I'll go after people on here in a heartbeat. But, I try to limit that for the clueless and the people who throw out "facts" that they really haven't even taken the time to confirm. That's enough to keep me busy on here. Don't need to be going after a players momma.

It's tough to buy into a new coach after you and your family built a relationship with the coach that was run out of town. I'm sure feelings are hurt. It's human nature. I'd be pissed. But my dad would've told me to be open minded and you never know when an obstacle can be a new opportunity. I hope the transition is going well. Your son went through about 3 years of college football emotions in that one rough last year and has full eligibility. I get the feeling the next couple of rides are going to be more enjoyable for everybody.

so true and Croomster had no issue with adjusting; and i'm absolutely not worried about him been eligible either. :loco: I'm still "MAMA" lol. He was heavily recruited by Cincin, so he was already knowing and comfortable with the staff when they came on board....... and you're so right, my feeling were hurt, although I clearly understand why previous staff is no longer there. Personally, I stay defensive regarding the CDD because posters attack and hate him so much and it unjust. Not speaking on football and referring to him as a PERSON, Husband , Father. He's such a NICE man, but nobody knows or sees that. Well we did and the honesty that he told me and my husband in 2011.
We were NOT oblivious to ANYTHING that at that time "MIGHT HAPPEN", but what did stick out to my family was (1) honesty (2) the comfort (3) open door policy (4) staff (5) players knowing who my son was from day #1 after UT offerred and the atmosphere of UT; which sells itself if we stay away from Volnation.com. lol

Thanks. Because I really don't know what I could have said. The stuff you talk about is from having lived the recruiting experience. It's everybody else that blows what you say out of proportion.

I meant 4 years of football eligibility. Not bad after going through an injury and coaching change. Better now than later.

Probably the best advice to give any future recruits.

Even those of us who came in here sane, probably aren't anymore, the insanity has taken over us so slowly, we just don't realize it.

That's what we said! Bad it happen, but good with it happening when it did. Now he comes back more mature, eager, stronger , bigger, and knowing what to expect. What's better than that???!!! "A WINNING SEASON"

MZTERRY, I just want you to know how appreciative I am of you and your son. I am a very passionate fan, and so have a measure of affinity for anyone who comes to our grand University. Your posts bring an endlessly intriguing point of view to this board, and I hope that I too can have the joy of sending a child to this University one day. Your son is one of my favorite prospects at our WR position, and I would just like you to pass on to him and the team that while others might have negative things to say, I will always support them whether they drain the Swamp or drop the gamewinner in Bama. These kids give everything they have for four years to this University, and for that gift and the joy they bring me as a fan, every player will hold a special place in my heart.

yep... i found out the hard way, but I was so in luv with these crazy people during Jason's recruitment this time last year.... it was like an addiction..... :):loco:

then all the nega crap about my Dooley started and he wasn't given the time to really show his works... and CBJ inherited his 2012 which are ALL beasts in their own right, so he'll get the credit for Dooley's work and y'all will continue to dis my Dooley, who is the SOLE reason University of Tennessee got my signature.

Moving on....

Love to see the loyalty and wish our previous coach was worthy of it...jmo and what fans of the program observed from a distance. You had first person interaction with the man so your voucher speaks volumes for Coach Dooley as a man but this program wasn't getting better ma'am. It was time for him to go and your son will have to shine for a new leader. If great things happen these next few seasons, it will be BECAUSE of Butch. He has to fix the give up attitude that surfaces in big games on this team...you have a lot of fans on here thanks for sharing
