Basilio hasn’t named names but has said we’re also getting another SEC transfer soon in addition to Halvorsen.

Trey Wallace also hinted about this during his RTI video chat last night. Said we would find out soon and he didn’t want to spoil the player’s moment.

I’ll be interested to see what transfers Tony brings in to fight for starting infield spots. Chambers probably slides in at 2nd. Spikes likely ends up at SS. Lipscomb and Moore fight for 3rd base. Steenstra and Dooney fight for first. I think Pav goes pro so I pray Charlie Taylor is either ready or replaced by a transfer. I think Booker at LF is inevitable. I imagine it all shakes out likes this…

Yeah we saw that earlier this season, but his technique isn't great either and he can be taught. He still has a great arm and he's a helluva bat to leave out of the order. Maybe he's the Pete Derkay in 2022.

I disagree. If Tony stays, he'll just reload each year. We have tons of talent coming back, or recruited, or will have in the transfer portal. I have zero concerns about continued success if Vitello stays.

I also think Tennessee will be the preferred landing spot for a lot of transfers. Tony let's the kids be themselves and that is very attractive to the college athlete in today's world. Players from all around the country will want to play for him. Pay him and his staff and give him what he wants for a stadium rebuild/renovation and if he stays, Tennessee baseball is going to explode.

Tennessee will have the type of program that other schools and fan base will hate and can't stand to hear about. But the kids will love to be here.
