Looks like beer at Neyland was a success

It’s hilarious to me that someone could be so uptight and/or puritanical that they’d consider withholding their donation because someone spilled some beer on their kid. I mean, REALLY?

I wish I had so little to worry about that I could waste energy on something so silly. Are they afraid the kid was going to suddenly become a raging alcoholic if their skin made actual contact with some beer?:D[

Ah. The pretentious post mocking people that take a moral stand against alcohol. You obviously worry about people who has A moral issue with alcohol, I guess you have Enough time to worry about that

Lol, it's why the ancients drank a lot of wine and beer for thirst. Many water sources like rivers. streams, and ponds were not trusted. It was and remains today pretty easy to see livestock upstream from you at the Nile for instance I've seen with my own eyes doing what livestock do, defecating and urinating in the water. Wells were okay but few and far between sometimes. But traveling in a caravan for instance, lots of wine was carried to quench thirst. The alcohol was trusted not to make you ill like a lot of the water would.

And there was no refrigeration so the wine naturally became fermented. That's also why God warn about drinking too much wine. There are countless families who lost loved ones because of alcohol but as long as it makes UT money (which none of us will see) thats all that matters

OH FFS! This is the dumbest post I've seen on here in a while and that's saying something.

Go to every game. Don’t care if you want to drink beer or not but two different idiots spilt their beer on my children. My daughter was in our other seats so I wasn’t there but the other was a lady who spilt it on my son and his friend. I had to show restraint since I was the ride home but it has me rethinking my monetary contributions because you should not have to worry about this. One time may be an aberration but twice is starting a pattern. They probably won’t miss my five figure donation but it wasn’t perfect for at least one family
And before it was a jack and coke spilt on you instead of a beer? Beer sales inside the stadium aren’t having an impact on how much alcohol is consumed by the person spilling it. Just saying.....

While I was not "forced" there have been plenty of September games where I either bought a couple of $6 bottles of water or risked ending up in the ER with dehydration. I do agree on the smokers though, UT should not have to accommodate their bad habits.
Can you really be that against a small roped off area away from everyone? What else do you consider a bad habit?

$1.5M...

I didn’t buy one, but saw them...and was told the price. So, basically...they sold about 167 beers?

I was only responsible for less than 20 percent of that............. so I wasn't the only one................( I got a bank loan before kick off)

To name a few, nose picking, fingernail biting, chewing with your mouth open, lip smacking, poor hygiene, dipping, and yes, smoking. Are you arguing smoking is a good habit?

Beer spiller has been found. It has nothing to do with what you said. I don't want beer spilled on me much less my kids (when I was young). If you can't hold your beer, then bring a sippy cup. Your last statement is ****ing stupid.

LOL! I don't even drink beer. But it looks like we found another tight-@zz drama queen. (I mean you, in case you're slow)

Go cry in your beer, lady. Oh, wait. You don't drink, do you? Go cry in the non-alcoholic beverage of your choice!

Nah, no drama, just don't like drunk ass people dumping drinks on me. But hey, your probably in the student section so I guess it's the norm for you.

It should be illegal to price gouge at events... Oregon has a written law against it... airports, concerts, football games etc have to sell beer and other merchandise at the same rates as pubs and retail around the area do.

They lock you from exiting the stadium for four hours, then force you to pay 3 times the value of basic consumable items (not to mention they don't even have a smoking area... which is ridiculous and inconsiderate............ I don't even smoke, but I frequent games with people that do, and some of them act like they're about to die after four hours without a smoke... it doesn't take any effort to gate an area outside the stadium for smokers to do their thing without forfeiting their tickets)

They'd make just as much money with more people willing to participate in concessions and it would create an atmosphere that people aren't feeling like they're being taken advantage of... which would increase ticket sales... more sell-outs... better looks from recruits... all the things better by just setting reasonable prices and setting up reasonable things like a smoking section outside the stadium.

As far as alcohol sales goes... I don't know why it was ever not a thing? Prohibition has been gone for far too long to be concerned about these things at a college campus where tailgating is one of the major selling points... stupid rules are stupid
Did you actually complain about no smoking areas ?? Wow stopped reading after that ridiculous notion.

Why is it something to "worry" about? You talk like hydrochloric acid was spilled on your kids. You're at a sporting event with 100,000 people crammed together. Accidents will happen. So your kids got a little beer spilled on them. It washes off you know.

It’s sticky and smells like **** all the way home and you may enjoy it but the kid doesn’t. Been going for years and nothing spilt over their heads or down their backs before till beer this year. But Neyland is crowded and when drunk some are stupid and easier to spill 24 ounce cups. They should just do like NFL games and use the plastic bottles which would prevent the spilling and limes would be shorter. Pouring it out is stupid

It wasn’t a little either DA

I mean if you gotta have a drink to enjoy the game that’s your right. I have NO problem with responsible drinking. The problem is some people think they are in control but they aren’t.
I know i am in the minority but i don't think their is any such thing as "responsible drinking". Just my opinion and not a "shot" at anyone.

I know I am in the minority, but I don't think there is any such thing as "responsible driving." Even if you're driving responsibly on the interstate, you're still going 70 mph and can kill someone.
