I didn't feel to good about going against Cliff Lee. It doesn't matter if the score is 11-0 or 1-0, it's still a loss. They need to get this next game against Joe Blanton and they will still be in this series.

We need a miracle now 615. I'm so sick to my stomach. I just cannot believe it. We lost with our best in Big Jon. Two years in a row he has choked in game 4 of the LCS.

Doesn't it seem like this always happens? I just had that feeling all night that the Phillies would win at the end.

The problem we face now is that it will be tough to beat Hamels again and Cliff Lee but they have to take it one game at a time at this point.

The Dodgers really screwed up when they didn't get Cliff Lee. I know it's easier to say that after the fact so I am not mad at Ned Colletti or anything but he could have made a big difference.

I think Manny is allowed to void his contract after this season but he is signed through 2010. I'm not sure he wants to become a free agent after the 50 game suspension and the way he played after he returned.

I am not sure the Dodgers need him if he continues to play like that anyway. He looks like a guy that quit using performance enhancing drugs rather than a guy in a slump.

Completely agree, if Manny wants to stay fine if he wants to go that's fine too. I never thought I'd say this but down the stretch I'd rather had Pierre out there.

Big off season looms for Ned, IMO priority 1a; lock up the young guys and avoid arbitration, 1b; starting pitching, the lack of of proven starters cost us big and I'm not talking signing more scrap heap guys like Padilla, Garland, Weaver, etc etc...

All in all it was a good year but anything less than a pennant next year will be a disappointment

I agree. I am worried about the McCourt's divorce and how that will affect the team.

Me too, Frank said that it wouldn't hurt the franchise but you and I both know she'll get half of everything. We can only hope that her "half" doesn't slash our payroll.

They might have to sell the team by the time the divorce is over with. I wouldn't be too upset as long as a new owner was committed to winning and had the money to support a big market team. I want an owner that is not afraid to spend the money but smart enough to know when not to.

I think for the 2010 Dodgers the C, 1B, 2B, 3B and LF are expandable. Obviously, most of those guys will be back but just saying they could stand to upgrade at those positions. I don't see anyone (in their right mind) giving Manny 20 million so he should be back too. I also hope for Loney to improve dramatically because he's had plenty of time.

I would like to see more power in the lineup from 3rd base, Casey Blake looked awful this post season at the plate. I would be happy with either Hudson or Belliard at second. The defense is most important to me at 2nd. Furcal is good at short defensively and he makes pitchers work to get him out at the plate.

The pitching might be OK if Kershaw and Billingsley get closer to their potential but they missed out when they could have traded for Cliff Lee. They need to get a guy like that in the rotation. I think the bullpen is fine so long as Broxton doesn't face Matt Stairs or Jimmy Rollins ever again.

Also, thank God Jason Schmidt's contract is only through 2009.

I like Frank. I think he is good for the Dodgers. I hope Jamie doesn't get done what she wants to get the team. It's gonna be a long winter guys. We need a frontline starter.

I think we're solid in the OF and all across the infield with the exception of third. I think Casey is expendable because of age and declining skills, at every other position we have youth and big time potential. I would welcome Beltre back with open arms but even a Figgins or DeRosa would be nice.

We've gotta get an ace to complement Bills and Clay plus we'll need a couple new arms for the bullpen after they break down from this year's load. Resigning Wolf should happen but then I'd like to see us get Lackey or Duchschuerer, Beckett, Lee or Webb if the Sox, Phils and Snakes are dumb enough to let them walk, and maybe take a flyer on Harden or Sheets. In the pen, R. Soriano, Benoit, Ayala, or Lyon is needed for a solid 7th inning guy and potential closer insurance. Plus why not bring back Saito on the cheap?

No kidding! Dreifort was more productive than that guy.
