André just ripped the Heisman out of Brohm´s hands.

Kentucky´s first win against a top 10 team since 1977.

Louisville is not a top 10 team. They were ranked that high because of pollsters pumping up the Big East.

Great win for UK, though, either way. Monumental.

It had nothing to do with "pumping up the Big East." Their assertions were mainly based off Louisville's offensive potency. By the way, UCLA sure made the Pac-10 proud today.

Biggest reasons for the UK win:

Kentucky won the ground game. Held UL to 100 yards rushing, while piling up 180 themselves.

Turnovers. UK forced 2 of them while playing turnover-free.

Everytime UL scored, UK answered by smashing them back in the mouth.

Congrats McCat. I was actually present, and have to say I enjoyed every minute of the game.

Lucky dog. A buddy of mine turned his webcam on his tv, and I watched it over the internet.

Go start a Pac-10 thread then.

And the pollsters assertions were based off the fact that Louisville had an easy schedule to roll through. Anybody who knows even a little bit about football should know that any team with a defense that bad is not top-10 material. That's why they're pollsters, because they will vote a team like Louisville top-10 even after they let a Sun Belt team drop 40+ on them.

They didn't know just how bad their defense was heading into the season. Anyone with a modicum of football knowledge should know "pollsters" won't adjust their rankings after a bad defensive performance in spite of a win.

Even worse, their ranking of UCLA looks even more preposterous. Giving UCLA a unanimous top 15 preseason ranking was inconceivable.

I agree, I didn't get that one. Karl Dorrell shouldn't even be allowed to sniff the top 20 without earning it first.

Dang, McCat! I may have to eat those words I said about Carolina beating Kentucky on October 4th!

Great win!
