Louisville vs. Rutgers

Who will win?

If the Big East is going to have an automatic bid, a team that goes undefeated in that conference should play in the BCS Championship Game ahead of a one loss team from any other conference.

I don't think they're that good, but it's tought to argue with that logic.

If Greg Schiano isn't the National Coach of the Year, the voters should be chained to a wall, given hundreds of paper cuts each, then doused in rubbing alcohol with a fire hose.

No doubt. This is RUTGERS we're talking about for crying out loud!?

True. But the Wake Forest guy should receive honorable mention.

If that logic doesn't stand, then the BCS proponents should just admit their system is a sham. You can't essentially say the conferences are equal, then act in a manner inconsistent with that principle.

Well, Lyin' Bob Petrinocchio got his just desserts tonight. Earlier this week he screwed a Kentucky kid, by reneging on a scholarship offer. Now Rutgers returns the favor.

:dance2:

I've heard that from a few Auburn fans.

What a comeback win for, ahem, Rutgers. What really struck me was the obvious appearance that they were HUNGRY for a big win. How often do we see "great" talent in the SEC underperform? If the likes of the SEC powers could perform at that level on a week-to-week basis, there would be some MONSTERS lurking.

If Rutgers wins out - would they match them up with an undefeated Boise St. in a BCS game?
If Rutgers wins out and doesn't play in the BCS Championship game, with wins over two Top 10 teams, the system is irreparably broken.

I not sure you can break what never worked right to begin with...

I'd put an undefeated Rutgers in the champ game but I doubt it will happen.

I'm looking for Rutgers to play for the National Title... The BCS sucks the big one...

I don't agree that it hasn't worked right. Other than 2000, when Miami beat FSU but somehow got passed over for a Championship Game spot, what year didn't the system work?

How about an unbiased playoff system? I know, just a pipe dream of the unwashed multitudes...
