One thing Chip Kelly has finally learned and that he has to put a team on the field that can be physically on par with the SEC. Looks like he’s done that with LSU, his guys are going toe to toe at the LOS.

I wanted to vomit. I didn’t realize UT football was on the front end of a 15 year slide. But here we are in 2021.

Really starting to wonder if Coach O is the next Gene Chizik.

Caught lightning in a bottle one year, rest is either average or bad. Every coaching staff decision he’s made, with the (admittedly huge) exception of Joe Brady, hasn’t been good. That would seem to indicate luck, not skill.

I heard he didn’t even interview Pelini, didn’t even talk to him. Pelini supposedly knew a guy.

If LSU ends the year out of the top 15 my guess is Coach O is gone . They don't screw around down on the bayou.

That display of “tackling” is pure garbage.

There have been a lot of distractions at that program lately…the Les Miles stuff, Derrius Guice/sexual assault stuff. Maybe having an impact? This performance is partially a lack of effort thing.

I’d say it’s more time zone switch than anything. There’s still no excuse. My guess is they got the we’re LSU mindset of auto win and got caught

Meh, if so that’s as weak as it gets. Hell, on the way out there, you get an awesome night’s sleep because you go to bed so early. It’s coming back east that’s harder.

There could be something to the “auto win” thing. I think they did that in the loss to Wisconsin a few years ago, although their D played very well in that game. As this game as gone on, this seems like a mail in effort.

Yeah, I'm not sure what you do with him. Only like 4 completions to Wrs, but yeah he's not going to get himself hurt. Couple of games and he'll opt out.

I think I could play MLB better than LSUs group, the rest of D looks good. Crazy bad MLB play.

Might be a tough year. Down to 3rd string at LT, more or less. Down to 2 scholarship RBs.
