LSU at UCLA

Yeah, I'm not sure what you do with him. Only like 4 completions to Wrs, but yeah he's not going to get himself hurt. Couple of games and he'll opt out.

I think I could play MLB better than LSUs group, the rest of D looks good. Crazy bad MLB play.

Might be a tough year. Down to 3rd string at LT, more or less. Down to 2 scholarship RBs.

I don’t know either. He’s a top 10 pick, but to show that lack of effort on that run and catch against a guy who was clearly athletically inferior is disappointing… What’s the temperature on Coach O? How restless will the fan base be after this?

Yeah, they need to sit him on the bench, but damn other than the MLB play it was a shutout for the secondary.

Unless the Cookie Monster agrees, I doubt he is going anywhere ie big money. Of course, the whole school admin has gone woke anyway.

Best CBs in football by a country mile, yet the other team has like 300 yards throwing to big goofy looking lumberjack TEs. Lol

So what was the difference between '18 and '19?
New players, new coaches...experience, training, luck, timing, lack of injuries, less suspensions, organization, team ball, chemistry, etc.

Unless LSU admin changes their tune, the days of top football is probably over there.

That offense in 2019 thought was much different with many of the same players, no? It went from a rather sleepy, conventional offense to a modern, high-powered one that threw the ball over the field seemingly overnight.

Obviously, the Oline was better and the RB was better. With the smoking and academic policies in place not sure LSU will be where they were anytime soon, if ever. Basically, LSU is playing the backup center which was a 3rd string option in the Spring at OT by the 2nd quarter. The OLine is not even close to what they were in 2019.

All in all, Max played decent to good, zero run game. Walk on running backs are playing over 5 star Rbs who are sitting for academic reasons. Max had a few goofy plays, and he felt like he needed to get the ball to the second level when UCLA was giving them 5-10 yards.

LSU is pretty much toast at this point with the admin. You can't have your 3-4 year developed OT transfer before the year to Kentucky and hope things will be okay. You can't sit 5-star RBs for walk-ons. Nobody is doing this **** other than LSU. You can't make everyone show vax cards, social distance at the stadium and wear those stupid masks, etc.

Well can you blame them? It’s pretty obvious that 2019 was largely due to Joe Brady and Joe Burrow.

It’s literally Chizik 2.0…ahead of its time OC with a generational QB…
