Lol

If we don't need help why keep up with them???

Just guessing but I bet florida isn't having similar discussions on their boards!!

The better they do the better our RPI and SOS is...the better those 2 are the better our seed typically would be?

Thought you would know that.

Wtf are you talking about?

Winning the games we are supposed to (favored in), would put us at 23-8 (14-4), is that not good enough for you?

Hell yea 14-4 would be good enough for me but you are suggesting 11-7 is good by you.

Lowered expectations and that's BS!!

So you are happy with where we stand today??

Many of you have the stance to just win the games we are supposed to and that's fine and dandy. The problem with that is with this teams talent and experience that's damn near every game we have remaining.

You guys keep lowering the expectations and that's BS. This team should be held to a higher standard. Plain and simple

You are just getting sensationalistic on us. It is not that bad. I agree that it isn't as easy for this team to win the games they are supposed to. But you are making it sound so terrible. I am only disappointed with the NC State loss at home. UTEP is not bad because we were not going 3-0 in that tourney, and we ended up with 2 solid wins. Why wouldn't we root for the teams we beat? Yes, I bet you UF fans are rooting for Memphis, FSU, and whoever else to win because that influences their quality wins. If Memphis collapses, then that win is not good anymore. Just quit this crap both ways. We have work to do. We need to win some road games, but we are not in desperation mode.

Happy or not??

I would be happy we made the dance, but not thrilled we barely snuck in if that's how it played out.

Does that not answer your question?

Myself and Gee are saying win the games we should and everything's fine, you go on a rampage about how we're lowering the bar and that's BS. Yet I tried to explain that winning the games we are supposed to would have us 23-8 (14-4), and easily into the tourney.

So is 23-8 (14-4) really lowering the bar to such a BS level?

So you would "be happy, but not thrilled".

Lol. What a contradicting statement.

If this team squeaks into the tourney by going 11-7 in the SEC a coaching change should occur.

This team has the talent/experience to compete for an SEC title and be very comfortable on selection Sunday. Anything less than that and martin should go.

Nope. Since you answered the question he asked you in the last paragraph.

Happy but not thrilled. Yep that's a clear answer.

Translation: we underachieved but its good enough for me and my lowered exspectations

Last post to you, swear to it.

It simply means, I'm glad we are in the f****g dance for the first time in multiple years. Am I happy that we had to sweat it out and ride the bubble, hell no, this team should have waltzed in. However, that doesn't mean I can't be happy that I get to watch our name printed out on to those brackets does it?

Because I'm upset with how the season went, means I have to be upset about making the tournament too? That sounds like a miserable f*****g life man.

So martin keeps your vote of confidence?

Lol.

There is the answer to whether you would be happy or not.

You spend so much time and effort here defending the process of just squeaking into the dance. In fact you ridicule others for suggesting things aren't fine and dandy now because we can do just that.

But

The fact of the matter is you admit you wouldn't be happy just slipping into the dance!!

Lol at the hypocrisy of your post here.

Every team in america controls there own destiny in January... Anybody can win their conference tournament. And no one should feel comfortable about where the team is right now.

Every team in America has work left to do, we are no different, I'm not sure how that's off base? If we win the games that we are supposed to this team will be playing for seeding come the SECT, not a spot in the field.

Completely agree... The problem is this team doesnt always play like its suppose to. They were "suppose" to beat UTEP... They were "suppose" to beat NC ST. But i will say that they seem to have gotten themselves together at the right time. I think they make the tourney.

They've definitely been inconsistent. They weren't "supposed" to beat Xavier in Atalanta, but they destroyed them. Virginia game was "supposed" to be a close one, it was a slaughter.

If we can find the consistency and play like we have the last 3 games we will be in good shape.
