LSU/UK - did "Flagrant Foul" merit an ejection?

If I understand the rule correctly:

flagrant personal yes
flagrant technical (with ejection) no

The KY made it look bigger by aiding with a flop to the floor. He knew it was coming, he looked back and saw the guy with his arms outstretched before picking up the dribble.

Seriously?

it is pretty funny to watch huh? Saw UK doing it in the UT game too

You seem like you're an intelligent guy, do you honestly believe it was Anthony Davis' intent to flop to get a call? If so, please point to it in this photo

The LSU player sent letters to Davis and Calipari apologizing for his actions. Trent Johnson must be putting the kid through the ringer.

It was an impetuous mistake that kids could easily make in the heat of the moment. Glad to see that Johnson took it seriously, and more glad that nobody got hurt.

Kinda where my head is at too. Write the letter, run some suicides, and get on with the season. No suspension needed.

From the outside looking in, probably not warranted. He may be trying to send a message to his team though. Classy act, but an over reaction.
