LSU vs Auburn

I’m convinced Kelly will get 8 wins and somehow it will be an ugly 8 wins. At his basic, he’s one of the top coaches in the country. Maybe not top 5 but def top 10. LSU will experience a culture shock for this year. But Les was received the same way but he was being handed a Saban stocked team. I don’t dislike Kelly but don’t like him either. He’s vanilla to me. LSU’s talent base alone can get him 7-8 wins. I’m eager to see where he has them in year 3-4

I feel like he blew the chance to get the 8th win by losing to Florida State in week 1.

It was his fault. To further my point his actions at the press conference didn’t help his case.

Fk him.

I mean this can be relitigated but last i checked, a college student is considered an adult and I don’t remember any police report or witness testimony that he forced the student up in the lift by force.

Oh well, this debate never ends. Sigh.

Some things in life are like an albatross around the neck....

That's his

Maybe for the twitter world but it obviously hasn’t impacted his career in a manner where he’s taken “losses” professionally as a result of him wrongfully causing a death.

In what world is there not a down the end zone camera angle that isn’t a pylon cam.

I swear, camera work for college football games get worse every year. It’s absolutely inexcusable to not have a decent camera on the goal line. And I’ve been saying for years, it’s disgraceful that networks are too cheap to not have high speed cameras.

What’s point of network spending all this money if they can set up fixed camera angles? I don’t get it.

It’s well known that he gave him no other choice. The fact that people defend him is ridiculous

Yeah but he also “stole” one vs MSU.

Let's breakdown schedule:

FSU - Loss 23-24
Southern - Won 65-17
Mississippi State - Won 31-16
New Mexico - Won 38-0
@Auburn - down 14-17. (let's say they win this one)
Tennessee - Loss
@ Florida - Loss
Ole Miss - Loss
Alabama - Loss
@ Arkansas - Loss
UAB - Win
@ Texas A&M - Let's say upset win

If they beat Auburn, 6-6.

I don't see them winning 8 games. Perhaps they beat Ole Miss, Florida, or (hopefully not) Tennessee, that is still 7 games. I don't think they do better than 1-2 against that stretch.

I just don't see 8 wins on this schedule. They will be fortunate to go 6-6. That FSU loss looms heavily.

I expect them to win tonight and beat UF. Then lose to us, Ole Miss, and Bama. Then win last 3 games for 8-4. Arkansas can not handle a running QB and A&M is garbage

If Florida plays like they did in Knoxville, I don't see LSU winning that one.

It’s a well known fact Kelly didn’t use force to make the student get in a lift. To sit here and say he literally put a gun to the student’s head as if there was not “choice” available is stupidity. It’s almost like we pick and choose when to label people adults or minors based on our personal opinions.

Somehow I'm lost on this story?
On a windy day at ND, Kelly forced a student assistant up into a scissor lift to film practice despite warnings that it was unsafe and stated discomfort from the kid that ended up dying when it blew over.

I got them beating Florida and Arky. I do NOT expect Richardson to play like he did vs us for the rest of season.

Oh yeah, now I remember that.
