Ball should be live, until it’s recovered or IT goes out of bounds.

There shouldn’t be a scenario where the offense can fumble the ball, the defense do nothing wrong and recover the fumble, and the offense can completely negate the fumble and regain possession.

Not even a penalty for illegal touching. Terrible.

It was clearly coming out and LSU recoveres it, I missed it, what was the explanation? Other than cause it's Bama!

A player, the guy that fumbled, that was out of bounds touched the ball before it was in possession of the defense. Dead ball at that point and offense keeps possession.
