LSU vs. ND

The next great NFL QB threw for 43 %.

One of the worst Sugar Bowl performances since this guy . . .

In addition to having the longest bowl losing streak in the history of college football, ND also has a losing margin of almost 18 points per game in those games!

i wonder what banner CW will hang in the facility this year? last was 9-3 isn't good enough.

maybe this year it will read:
"maybe 9-3 is pretty good after all?"

what a joke.

I think the reason ND is having this bad bowl streak is because they're constantly overhyped and play in bowls against teams they shouldn't be playing in the first place.

Outstanding insight! (especially since I made the same point in another thread :) )

which again is why i can't stand it when people start discussing who is deserving and who isn't when it comes to playing for national titles.

you look at what BSU did this season compared to what ND did....yet there was still a debate as to whether or not BSU even deserved to be in the BCS. and had they not added a 5th game...they wouldn't have been invited, but ND would. and only because they're ND. not because of anything they actually accomplished.

I knew I had read or heard that somewhere. I was sitting here thinking "Did I just hear an ESPN guy say that?"

Just saw the stats. These two stats jumped out at me . . .

1st downs - LSU 32 . . . .ND 16

Total Yards - LSU 583 . . . ND 293

ND looked like Cornersville High School compared to LSU. It was sad to watch in the second half.
