So people don't think we have a shot to get in?

I could see this team going 14-4 in SEC Play, we have a shot to be really good if we keep improving.

That would give us a 22-8 record and we'd be in easily.

Rpiforecast updated and their projection which had us 18-12 has gone to 19-11 with the win over Virginia. They didn't have us losing the game, but their projections are all based on percentages and cumulative percentages.

For example, they predict our conference record at 11-7, but they have us favored in 12 games, a pick em in one, and a 49% chance in another. So by their percentages very close to 14-4, but basically have us splitting some of the toss up games.

I'm optimistic about Tuesday night, win that and the next 2 SEC games should be gimmes at home. We would head into Rupp January 18th with a 11-4 record and 3-0 in the SEC, would be a HUGE game.

I grew up with a father who wasn't much into the college game, basketball or football, so it was never on and we never went to games. When we moved to Tennessee when I was 12, I started going to a lot of games with friends and stuff and fell in love with the college atmosphere and UT.

I agree completely! Being on the bubble with the amt of talent that we have isn't acceptable. In the end if we get in we will probably be a bubble team.

Being considered a bubble team now means little. If they can turn it around and get some quality wins (LSU, Missouri, Arkansas, etc) will probably move off the bubble pretty quickly. Have to avoid the bad losses though. The last two games doesn't prove much but everybody knows they have the talent to be a top 25 team.

I think LSU is a huge game for the guys confidence.

20 total wins puts an enormous amount of pressure on the SEC tourney and without winning a few games there won't be enough IMO.

21(regular season) total wins would put us just on the correct side of the bubble IMO.

22(reg season)total wins before we will be able to talk about seeds and not bumbles being busted.
