Absolutely perfect match up for Memphis State. How great could it be to put the Vols out of the tourney the first round if you won? But losing would be even better. Get beat by the Vols and you would have Pearl driving the Memphis train next year.

I still say there's only a 40% chance we make the tournament so I'm not taking lunardi's word to heart. Win today and we're talking tournament. Lose to the 6th ranked gators on the road and we're calling for cuonzos head. It's getting old.

How the @##$ is Kentucky a 2?? Their best win is at home agains Louisville. SDSU has a much better resume.

If we lose to Ole Miss next week, that would pretty much sink the ship anyway unless we could beat Fl. twice. don't see that happening.

The ole miss game will hinge on Stokes, which personality will show up.

Ole Miss plays a lot of zone. UT is going to have to hit some outside shots or get some transition buckets to win this game.

I would be shocked if we beat UF. They are the ONLY good team we have left on our schedule. This team SHOULD be able to run the table against the rest of the SEC by we all know Martin is going to have some signature horrible losses. We only have 1 road win.

Last year we had wins over Wichita State, Xavier, and blowout wins over UK and UF and were left out of the tournament. We've already been worked by WSU and UK and now have to go to UF after playing horribly against Arkansas.


I would love to be wrong and ill come back and eat my crow gladly, but Martin has had 3 years to prove me and everyone else wrong, and he just keeps repeating the same pattern.

Jusy accept it man, you'll be a lot less disappointed come March.

Who cares where Lunardi has us in ten(10) days!? We should only care where the tournament selection committee has us in March.

Lunardi is a self-promoting "snake-oil" salesman that apparently has managed to get millions speculating in January about the seeding in a tournament whose participants won't even be selected until March. The number of variables (such as conference tournament upsets) that make such an exercise pointless at this juncture are too numerous to list. The beauty of Lunardi's scheme is that he can't be proven wrong in January.:lol:

If everyone on here wants to go on his site and keep promoting him then knock yourselves out.:eek:lol::loco:

I understand your point. Consistency is a problem. However, the Xavier and UVA wins are much better this year than Xavier and WSU last year. I believe Xavier was barely a top 75 or 85 RPI team last year; top 35 this year. Plus, Wake Forest, LSU, and Arkansas are currently top 70 RPI wins. UK went to the NIT last year. Not a great win. The résumé this year is much better. That said, we do need to keep beating the teams we are supposed to beat.

We shall see. There isn't a team left on our schedule with the exception of Florida that we should not beat. I hope Martin pulls it off I'm tired of not dancing

A big win streak would be nice. Not sure this team can get on that kind of roll, but that's what's needed to go dancing.
