Lunardi, one of the best at picking those for the big dance picked UT to be in it, not me. I also saw he did not have them trending down as he did others. Will they be in it -- I don't have a clue but those in the know do.

I don't know where 37 is coming from either. In every RPI watch, 37 doesn't appear. I wish the NCAA used Pomeroy's rating. It has loved us awhile.

And ill remind you guys that it is only January. Im certain we were projected in this tiem last year too but we tanked the most important part of our schedule. Just like we did the year before that and just like we have already started to do this year with the A&M loss.

We weren't projected in this time last year actually.

At this time last year, we were only a couple games over .500 and had a losing record in SEC play. We weren't projected in the tournament.

And I'm certain that you're a fool that clearly has no idea wtf you are talking about. Last year at this time we were 9-8 (1-4 SEC) with a RPI of 93. We weren't even close to the NCAA tournament bubble, probably not even the NIT bubble.

And we didn't "tank" the most important part of our schedule. We finished by beating UF at home, UK at home, and Mizzou at home. The two losses to UGA hurt. After our loss to home against UGA, we won 6 in a row and 9 of 10 before losing in the SECT.

Wouldn't get too hyped about brackets just yet.
At this point it's just extra entertainment.
If you remember last season it came down to the last 3 or 4 games.
We were in and out playing musical chairs with Boise St, LaSalle, VA , Nova and several others.
We're 18 games in. A lot can happen in 12 more games.

Would you not agree that it's a good thing we are projected in at this point instead of out?

In past years it took a furious rally just to make it onto the bubble, this year a furious rally puts us into a top 6/7 seed.

Oh yes, I agree.
But this team has already shown that they might tear Florida a new un then turn around and lose to Vandy 3 games later.
I'll get hyped about projected brackets in late Feb.
