I have to say (and I realize I'll probably get criticized for this) that Lupe's latest work is a good album, but falls short of great.

The first 8 songs of this album are very, very good (my personal favorite off this album is "Bi*** Bad"). However, for me, the album almost ventures off in another direction when you start to get to "Heart Donor", and the whole second half of the album just feels different than the first half.

I got to B*tch Bad this morning running to get coffee. At first I was like "ew" then I listened to the lyrics and I was all like "yeah." That song is awesome.

Really the only current hip hop guy that I listen to on a regular basis. I miss tupac, biggie, P.E., NWA, old school Nas, Rakim, Slick Rick, Big Daddy Kane, DMX, Outkast, Wu-Tang, Trick Daddy, Spice One, etc. I cant get in to new hip hop, too pop based for my tastes.
